Very good stuff. After a bunch of garbage purchases this one is easily the best
What's not good:1) I would rate the rings themselves as 7-8 at most. (real rings are solid wood - this is machined plywood). They are not well sanded, and as I seen in other reviews, need to be finished or lacquered. I expect that they will if they take any kind of damage they will splinter hard. Test - if you firmly grasp the ring, and rotate it inside your palm, you will feel roughness. We hadn't gotten splinters, but we did get scratched by them.2) The carabiners are solid. I don't know the load rating, but they are not the same garbage you get with most other gym equipment. However, they are not real climbing gear either. I suggest replacing them real stuff. #1 rule - All carabiners come with a kN, or kiloNewton rating engraved into the spine. If you have carabiners without a kN rating DO NOT use them for climbing.3 & 4) Description says 4 carabiners. I got 2. But all you need is 2 anyway. "Anti-theft" carabiner is a ridiculous thing to put into description.Good:Solid strap.Easy to adjust.Really like the numbers.Probably the best on amazon without going to real equipment.

Stop looking, stop debating, stop researching and order these!!
First impression. These are very high quality. I read in one or two other reviews that the straps were not the same length so I had my wife grab one end I grabbed the other. They lined up perfectly. Because you are going to depend on these and I'm used to inspecting my utility pole climbing gear I went inch by inch along the webbing looking for flaws. There were none. The wood handles are mostly smooth. I say mostly because they aren't perfectly smooth like a very finely sanded item would be but they are so close that I know with a little use they are going to only get better and better. Plus I'm not sure how perfectly smooth you want anyway. You will be grabbing these and doing whatever you're thinking about with them. In my mind too smooth means slippery. No thanks. These are really really nice. There are no divits or raised areas on the rings... so no worries about splinters or sore spots because of uneven surfaces. They are perfect in that regard. "Not perfectly smooth" is referring only to the level of sanding. Like I said only a little different, they are in the money. As you use them they are only going to get better and better.I just can't find anything to complain about. I think for the money these are an exceptional value!!! Don't tell the manufacturer (wink wink) but I'd pay more tho I'm very grateful they are priced to keep them accessible. All that said I have not had an opportunity to use them yet. I'm still building my setup to use them on but I was impatient and really wanted to get them as a bit of motivation to hurry up and finish. That said, I'll update my comments after I use them some.

Straps are different lengths.
Great Product but straps are different lengths. Would be five stars but I never felt like the rings were at the same height. I reverified that the eyes the rings attach to were level, but the rings were still not level. Finally I took them down and placed the straps side by side and sure enough, each loop was about 1/16 of an inch different. This made one straps total length about an inch longer. They sent me another set and, same issue but they were even worse. I made a pair out of the closest two, which are still about 1/4" different, but probably close enough.

Does what the maker claims just buy it you can always return it.
The carabiner system makes it really easy to adjust and setup unlike the buckle system. I really like the feel of the wooden rings these are my first gymnast rings that are wooden. I got them for five reasons easy adjusting and setup, numbered straps, strong enough so I can add resistance such as weighted vest or dipping belt, and what most people online recommend wooden rings over metal or plastic and or lamented wood. And as a bonus they include a free workout eBook which I really liked I printed the setup guide and workout guide made holes in the paper and put them in a book like folder I got for 50 cents.I am not a gymnast I just progressed so rapidly with calisthenics(bodyweight exercise) that I needed to progress to harder exercises which these rings can provide. Also, supposedly I found out that ring rollouts are superior to ab wheel rollouts happy I didn't waste my money buying both.By the way I recommend the fitnotes app to track your progress with these rings it is available on android not sure about ios though. You need the supporter edition of the app so you can add timed exercises like the support hold. Also, this app has a body tracker where you track your weight, fat percentage and your body's circumferences for various areas on your body such as shoulders, neck, biceps, forearms, etc. Plus if you lose your phone or get a new one you can backup your records to google drive for free so you can always have access to it when you get a new phone.

I got splinters and the cables are limiting
The cables have fixed slots which sounded good initially to me until I tried to put it on an uneven tree branch, it's impossible to level out. The fixed slots only work on fixed gym equipment like a pull-up bar. The cables seem really solid in construction but are extremely bulky and found them annoying compared to typical smaller straps. Also the wood rings are low quality and I have to feel around for the "good" parts of the ring because I got a splinter from the bad part.

Best ring + strap combo on amazon
Easy to adjust and feels very secure... Other rings use a clip mechanism to anchor the straps which can fail and depends on correct installation. These are as close to idiot proof as you can get. Theres even a locking screw on the carabiner if you are really paranoid about it.The instructions that come in the box are a bit minimal but it's fairly obvious.I did have to loop the strap over itself to make it fit on a doorway pull up bar, but it still locked perfectly and on the plus side theres no loose strap end laying on the ground like there would be with the other type of locking mechanism

Very sturdy, don't bother with the other buckle/clamp versions
I had previously bought another set of gym rings that used a sliding buckle/clamp system to adjust. Despite the good reviews, one of the sides kept slipping and it was dangerous for certain exercises and just plain annoying for the rest. The hook system on these completely solves that issue. The stitching is done well and as long as you are sure to properly close the carabiners these seem to be very sturdy. I never have to worry about slipping and I haven't had any issues with the carabiner opening. I also like that the numbers are stitched in so they don't wear away.

Very solid. Very happy with purchase.
Very solid and sturdy. I have moved my workouts to my shed and I am sure I could also remove an engine with these. The handles have a great grip and perfectly sized. The numbering makes it quick to adjust.

A year later, there's no better product out there
The anchoring system is fantastic and really solid. The ONE problem you might have, is that due to the hooks it is difficult to hang the rings close to the anchor point. Hanging them lower is no problem, but having them at the top near the anchor is difficult. So the rings MIGHT not be the best fit if you have a really low anchor point. The numbered straps are a godsend and using the hooks means you literally don't have to worry about height adjustment anymore. It takes seconds to hang the rings, and seconds to adjust them. The rings themselves are really nice, too.

Good quality
The rings are great, sturdy with good stitching and quality carabiners. Numbers help for easy adjustments, and long straps can be easily overlayed to provide less or more length.

Excellent quality!!!
Product is excellent quality, the rings are solid and made with precision. Straps and carabiner clips heavy duty.
