It works but not perfectly.
I got this so i could read my sd cards on my desktop computer without having to use my laptop to transfer the files to a USB drive and it works but for some reason it will randomly disconnect my device while I'm using it... I haven't figured out why but it's corrupted some of my data that I was transferring so it's annoying... basically I'm using it to transfer a photo or two but anything more than that it's going to get disconnected. i would love it if it worked correctly

Inserting SD card causes it to become HOT to the touch.
Upon plugging in a micro-SD card in a SD card adapter into the SD card slot, within 5 seconds the SD card is legitimately hot to the touch. I take it out at the point, but if I were to wager, I'd say that if I left it in it would likely overheat and start to fry something. I have no idea why it could be doing that, but that's what happens when you buy cheap aliexpress stuff off of amazon.
