Right out of the box I could tell that they were well-made and look great. I use them all day. My feet felt the best they have ever I wasn’t tired by 5 o’clock. I’m still wearing them. It’s 8 o’clock now just took him off and they’re not broken yet but they feel so much better than any issue I’ve ever worn I highly recommend these I am not diabetic, but I do have white feet and there was room to stretch and the elastic band on top let you stretch, most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned highly recommend them I’m thinking about buying a second pair but black this time for work. The brown ones are running around town. Thank you Dr. comfort

It's extremely hard to find shoes when you are a 13 4E that actually feel good. We usually have to compromise and make the best of things, people likee know exactly what I'm talking about. For years now, Merrell boots were the closest thing that I found atleast for me, that I would consider "comfortable". Then I stumbled across these and although they are "orthopedic" I figured I'd give them a shot. From the moment I I slipped them on (the stretch lace system is ingenious) they were hands down the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. The stretch lace system although ingenious, hopefully will last as long as the boot, time will tell. Oh and it works, slip them on tighten the strap and your good to go. The only thing I did was put my own custom orthotics in, with a deeper cupped heel and firmer arched bottom (I have severely flat feet) for better support. I will say, they come with two sets of inserts, one the basic factory flat although thicker than most and their own orthotic brand that are extremely nice and by no means cheap. The were just a little too soft and not enough support for what I needed. Boot wise, the Craftsman ship and quality "so far" is outstanding with quality leather that you can snell as soon as you open the book. Steel rivited lace eyelets, double stitched etc. I do think the soles should have a little more "meat" but again time will tell and I might be surprised.. Make sure that you Waterproof them, I use the spay type and it gave them a slightly darker patina look(really cool). These also remind me of the early 1980s Dexter Hiking Boots that I loved, although an acquired taste while I was in high school. Bottom line "as of now" if you're picky as me, do yourself a favor and give them a try, I think you'll be pleasantly Surprised. On a side note, I wouldn't consider these "work boots" at least around oil, garages and the likes. Definitely could be a casual office boot, sales if your on your feet all day, truck driver, etc. I'll give an update in about 3 months about the longer durability and longer term comfort thoughts. I don't write very many reviews, but when I do it's because I either feel very strongly about the product.

I did not know what to expect when I ordered these boots.I thought they might fall apart within a couple months or start discoloring or would just not fit right.I was wrong able all those things!!They fit perfect, I always buy a size bigger with extra width because I never know when I will get a gout flare-up.After all these months they are still new like the day I wore them! No loose stitches, no discoloring!10/1/22 (update) - I just went to put in the left boot and the shoe lace snapped. I don’t do anything physical while wearing these boots, just walk. Can’t believe the lace snapped…Can’t replace the lace because the top is stitched in.

Shoe was wide fit good. Didn't like that the "laces" were elastic and not a tie lace. I fixed that by cutting then out. First time wearing they were awesome. Second day the buckle grommet on the right shoe broke while gutting dressed for work. Third day the left grommet broke.I am extremely hard on shoes as I wear leg braces. I think given normal circumstances these would be great shoes.

didn't fit have bought these shoes in black & Chesnut for many many years and wore them out loved them!! What happened when I just bought black ones did not fit. Maybe because they didn't come with the gel inserts they always came with in the past. Tried my worn out black pair that I keep for painting in garage they are size 11 and noticed they had the gel insert in those I did size up as my feet have flattened and widened with age but it may have been no gel inserts with boot socks on.I have a pair ordered in Chestnut coming hope they have the inserts with them because the black ones just came with some very cheap blue flat things with no support at all!!! had to return.

Top shelf materials and construction for this day and age in this price range. Great fit (13 x wide) I have a narrow heal and wide metatarsal area, with high instep. The ankle strap truly helps. My custom inserts fit perfectly, and the inserts they included are very good, not some cheap foam. The boots, the inserts and the packaging were way above what I've seen except in custom shoe shops. Planning on a hike up around Lake Superior later this year, we will see how they perform. The shoe horn was a nice touch. Highly recommend

These are the most comfortable shoes I have worn since the 1990's. I think your product is wonderful and my feet agree.

I have been a long term user of Doctor Comfort boots and shoes following a recommendation by my Podiatrist. Sadly the current pandemic has meant finding suppliers in the United Kingdom made finding a replacement pair difficult. In desperation I tapped in Doctor Comfort on the Amazon search line and upped popped their complete range. My only concern was that the web page indicated that my order would by fulfilled by Amazon LLC in the United States - which left me in quandary as to whether I was going to be involved in a more complex or lengthy delivery process. I need not have worried just over a week later the boots turned up, Just a small point to note for UK customers US shoe sizes are different but there is easy conversion grid on the web page when you order.
