They are easy to pull on and off, and are no trouble to wear.

I actually didn't by this for figure skating. I bought it for my elderly mother who was afraid of falling and getting serious injured. The only products I was able to find here made specifically to protect the seniors were not great, but I came across this which seems to provide a lot more protection than those made specifically for the elderly. I liked the solid cushions and all around protection on the sides and the butt area. I hope it helps my mother. The size was deliberately chosen to be loose, so she could put them on over her pants while walking about inside the house when she's alone. I know it will be big for her, since it fit me over my jeans and I am bigger than her. (I am a big size 4?)

My daughter uses these while learning and practicing new jumps. They may look a little bulky, however the thinner padding on other shorts just won't cut it. These have protected her many, many times and have spared her from serious injuries. I would highly recommend to any skater that is looking for a little extra protection. Absolutely worth every penny!

I didn't like it. I thought the protection would come just below the butt, but the protection ends sooner. I thought it would protect the tailbone more. I was disappointed

Somehow pads cover just half of the hips on the side, I ended up falling on the unpadded area, no shock absorption, bruise all the way! Now I have to figure out the way to attach some extra pads somehow. (((
