This is not a soft, cushiony device... it's like a true chiropractic tool, which is exactly what I've been looking for.I've only used it for 2 days. I'm hoping to get rid of dowager's hump, which has caused pain & muscle tightness for years. I started out laying on it for 2 minutes, then 4. I think that's my sweet spot for now. It's a little painful, at first, because your spne is realigning. I can't wait to see how I I'm looking & feeling after a month of daily use! This is my best purchase in a while.

I’ve been a physical therapist for over 15 years and work with a lot of people who have chronic pain, including neck pain and headaches. One of my patients told me about this product and so I did some research. I really appreciate how versatile this product is. It can be adjusted to 3 different heights to better fit a variety of people and their tolerance. One of the consequences of poor posture is the strain on the neck when the head sits too far forward. This flattens the curve in the lower neck and contributes to a lot of symptoms. I decided to get one of these for my clinic to allow my patients to try it before they purchase it and I liked it so much I had to purchase another one for myself! This is a great way to gently encourage the curve the lower neck. I usually have them start using it for one minute and then slowly increase from there. I find that just 5 minutes can make a difference! I don’t typically have them use it for longer periods to avoid being too aggressive. I’ve used this in my clinic and at home for several months now and it seems very durable. I highly recommend it for people who want to improve their posture and decrease strain to the head and neck.

I purchased 4 different neck wedges around the same time, and this is the only one I liked. With the ability to lower the height of the wedge, it is appropriate for many different sized people.The top has a 2-tier height, which in theory provides support for the head. However, it does not work that way for me - it is awkward (thus one of the reasons for the 4 stars). However, I switch it around (place the shoulder side away from my shoulders) and it works fine.A few other reviewers commented on the hardness of the wedge, and absolutely - it is very hard (should be softer). I ended up with sores on my neck at the pressure point (where neck met the wedge), but was able to address hardness by placing a soft cloth between my neck and the wedge and it works (I use a soft washcloth, which is the perfect size).

This is really not a pillow. It’s more of a cervical traction with hard foam. I’ve had cervical fusions so my neck is not in the best of shape. I do like the fact you can adjust the height by removing the bottom layer. It actually felt good. It allows your neck to rest in a proper position. Too many people have hunched necks. I blame looking at cell phones. Your head is in a forward slump position. So this is a good way to strengthen and relieve neck pain. It is hard but you should start at a minute interval and build up your time resting on this.

Works well with my neck and you can feel it helping your neck. I have seen improvements with my neck as well

Hurt my back several months ago. The chiropractors wanted me to buy theirs along with a lumbar device for twice the price each. This is a comparable product that offer necessary stiffness and just enough give to be comfortable. Rated a litter little than its lumbar counterpart because it does not sit against shoulders as much as it should.

My chiropractor recommended this neck orthotic to me. I use it daily for 5-10 minutes and it helps my neck. I have a very stiff neck and laying on this daily has helped loosen it up. I highly recommend it if you have a stiff neck like me!
