I didn't know if this company would respond at all but they did and gave me a valid report about the asbestos which turned out that there was none and showed that the other report was a lie so that helped so much. They also had a link to the EPA government site which proved their validity even more. Thank you so much for your great response or report

The product description is misleading. "Optional lab fee" is not optional, but it cost $20 for one asbestos test on top of the price of the kit. What they send you for your $8 is basically a zip lock bag and a pair of plastic gloves and a prepaid envelope that to ship a few onces should only be less than $2.00 at most, the instructions ask you to send more money to them to do the test. After that they are very very slow. Its been over two weeks since tracking shows they got the package and now they just starting on the test. The 5 business days they promiss was not kept. Still waiting on the results.

Its a well known fact that many older homes have asbestos in them, a natural element, that just happens to have some very negative affects on the human respiratory system. So before I started a remodeling project at my house, I went out and got me some of these packages to try out. It was a very simple process of spraying down the sample, and sending it in the sealed envelopes provided. The lab results came back within 2-days of mailing, of course I elected to pay for the faster service. They sent it to me as a PDF document in an email and I was able to keep an electronic file as well as pass the information on to the contractor to avoid the additional cost of expensive lab work elsewhere.

Great for testing.

At first I thought this was a steal compared to the other test kits here on Amazon. But then when it came I realized I have to pay a fee for the lab analysis and results. Maybe it's my fault for not reading the fine print, but I returned it to get the other kits that had at least one test included. I would've kept it if the lab fee was comparable, but with the cost of the test kit and the lab fee, it wasn't worth it.

One of the cheapest tests I could find. Worked well. Kit contents were easy and non confusing. Quality was good. And speed was good.

I actually mixed up my 2 samples on the form I submitted. Just labeled A and B. When I received the results they were the opposite of what I was expecting. So I contacted them. The person who answered the phone contacted the person who did the testing and was able to verify later the same day which was drywall and floor tile.

This is not a test kit. There are substantial hidden fees.
