The quintessential baking and serving set! A coworker brought the large bowl to a potluck recently and I was deeply jealous. Not for long! I did buy the open pack/used version from Amazon and one of them was chipped along the top edge. It was such a good deal that I didn’t make a fuss and I already had that bowl anyway… I am a Pyrex lover to the core!

I previously had a three bowl set of the same bowls and lids in a burgundy color for 20 years! I needed the larger bowl offered in this set of 4 and preferred to have clear over burgundy. I was glad the quality hadn’t changed over the years and am sure I’ll use this set another 20 years. They were packaged well, arrived all in tact. I don’t want a bowl with a lipped rim and the vertical lines/grooves in the glass on these help give you grip on them. Solid purchase, very happy, been using for a few months now.

Well, my old Pyrex bowls from 1989 were broken when I moved, so I had to replace them. These new bowls look the same, but they do not seem as heavy or sturdy, and appear to be more fragile than the older bowls. I'm not sure if they are using a different type of glass to make the bowls?

Wanted these for food storage and use in microwave to warm food. Have not used these yet but they look and feel like some 20-year-old Pyrex bowls I have with blue lids I have really liked. I would recommend not using them as mixing bowls with an electric mixer as I did try this and it scratches them badly. I’m really excited about having the largest size. I will try to remember to update my review after I use them a while.

You can’t go wrong with Pyrex. Great mixing bowls with lids. I especially like them being clear.I like them so much, I’m going to order another set.

This set replaced a much older set. was happy with it so replaced it with this one. still happy
