You Choose Fairy Tales

Endless adventures and the best value ever
I bought the other You Choose books when my son was 2 as a way of helping with potty training. Two years later and I’ve bought this to add to his collection of his ‘favourite’ books...most of which have been so well-loved and read several times daily that they’ve been repaired with sellotape on most pages. To say these books have nurtured his imagination would be an understatement. They’ve taken him on different adventures every time he’s opened them. And You Choose Fairy Tales is no exception. It’s beyond magical, full of possibility and wonder to a four year old with a love of stories. I hold this series of books completely responsible for his rich vocab and ability to tell a tale at the drop of a hat. These are a must for every household, nursery, school and library. These will be cherished for generations and passed down ( if we can part with them). We loved them so much we’ve bought copies as gifts for friends’ kids. Thank you Pippa and Nick!

Fabulous for language development.
If you are a speech and language therapist, play therapist or you work with children who struggle with language, imagination, structure, formulating ideas and writing stories this book is fabulous! My kids love inventing their own bedtime stories and choosing what happens.

Not as good as the previous books
My kids love the other ‘you choose’ books so I thought this would make an ideal Christmas gift. There are nowhere near as many things to choose from in here as in the other books so the stories each time won’t be as different. It is similar to another book we have called ‘story path’.Overall I’m sure my kids will enjoy it, it just doesn’t live up to the expectations set by the previous books

So interactive - a must on any children's bookshelf
We absolutely love reading this to our 3 and 1 year olds - they both get involved, pointing at the pictures and choosing where the story goes as we turn each page. We also have the original You Choose and You Choose: Dreams, but this is definitely our favourite. So easy to make a story out of and there are endless possibilities. It means that children can't sit and listen to the story passively and makes them take a more active role in story time. We love it.

Excellent for developing imagination
My daughter loves the original You Choose book so I decided to buy her the Fairytales edition for her birthday. Even better in engaging little ones imagination, as bright and colorful as original, definitely a hit with my daughter.
