Natural Hair Styling Balm/Gel/Pomade - Light Hold, 2 oz jar

This works well for my son who has fine straight hair. The texture of the product is a thick cream. It provides gentle hold but doesn’t make the hair stiff. It does have a strong sweet smell. I like the smell but I know not everyone likes scents.

On my second tub. Highly recommend for toddlers hair. My son has long hair that I put into a manbun and this paste helps smooth it and keep everything in place! Smells light and clean. Doesn't have too hard of a hold and not sticky.

My sons at an awkward stage of having long hair and getting it cut. He's 2 and has only had a trim. We love his long locks but his hair is constantly getting into his eyes and tickling his ears. I did some research on some hair products and ended up selecting this one because of the fact that it's safe for children of all ages and plant based thats hypoallergenic and doesn't have parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals or sulfates. That part was important to me since he was going to be wearing it in his hair all day.Upon using it, I noticed how tiny the product is, I uploaded an image for comparison with my Yeti cup. It's 2 oz. which breaks down to a little more than $6 per once. The instructions say to use a small amount on the palm of your hand and apply to either wet or dry hair. I think it probably would work better with wet hair.My son has long thick hair, it is definitely a light hold. I had to really run my hand and fingers through his hair for some structure. Before going out today I probably will apply a little more. I think next purchase will be on something with medium hold just because of the pricing and how much I will have to use of the lighthold in order to fully work on his hair and hold it back. But, with that being said, if you are looking for a light hold cream, this is definitely a good option for you. AND it smells amazing (think Grape)!

Smells great! At first we didn't use a lot on my son's hair because we didn't know what to expect. It held for a short time. He has a lot of hair but his hair is fine and pin-straight, so it fell back into its natural state. We used a lot more product for picture day, just a basic comb-over style. It stayed together just in time for pictures first thing in the morning. By the afternoon it didn't look like he had product in his hair, but you can still feel it in his hair by running your fingers through it. So I'm on the fencepost because it holds momentarily, its fairly natural, not sticky, and smells great.

As a first time boy mom, I am slowly learning how to fix my sons hair everyday, and I wanted something that was all natural (Since he most likely will get this on his hands and stick it in his mouth) and I really wanted something that was very forgiving, meaning that I could build up the product if needed. I didn't want that classic gel, like boys had in the 90's that was strong hold and made hair instantly crunchy! I discovered this worked best with wet hair, it dispersed the product more evenly and was very easy to work with! And this little jar will last you a lifetime with the small amount that you need! It also has such a clean refreshing smell to it, almost a little fruity-ish, but nothing overpowering or super girly smelling!

Our family is all natural and we don’t use things with synthetic ingredients. The smell is nice. Not greasy at all. Holds hair for a couple hours, but not all day. Good value for money. A little goes a long way.

No one prepares you for giving birth to a baby with a full wig! For the first few months my little guy's hair was absolutely insane. I liked to joke that he had a "womb perm" - some of his hairs went every which way and shot out at 90 degree angles mid-strand and nothing I did seemed to help. We'd comb them after bath time and then one by one they would pop back up as they dried. We even tried putting a hat on him after baths to try to tame it as it dried. I ordered this after the first moth or so and it worked great! I'd just rub a dab into my hands after bath time and run my hands around his head and then comb his hair. It would dry a little stiff but then once I combed it through - ta da! - no more womb perm! Plus it smells great and natural; light scent, a little green apple-y. He has had a few hair cuts now and his hair is not so unruly, but I still use this from time-to-time to tame a stray lock or fix a little bed head.

Medium hold and smells great! I love knowing that I'm using a clean product on my kiddos hair.
