Good fun, stand out looks but cheaply made and overall design could be improved.
This is a fun remote control toy for adults and kids alike. Children find the way it moves and sounds fascinating, whilst adults will have fun trying to precisely control it because it handles so strangely compared to a remote control car.It comes with two rechargeable battery packs, a screwdriver, a charger, the remote control and a hovercraft.First impressions are good, it looks nice and includes everything needed to start using it (except two AA batteries in the controller). The design is quite detailed with a blue and red aesthetic that will appeal to most and helps it to stand out from the surrounding area it is used.Straight away I also notice that there are screws for the battery compartment and remote controller. The manual says that (certainly in the case of the hovercraft), this is to keep water out. However, the catches on the battery compartment lids seem secure enough to me that I didn't bother putting the screws back in. This makes battery changes far less painful. It's very easy to set up, charge the batteries by connecting the charger wire to the wire on the battery and then place the battery in the hovercraft battery compartment. Turn on the hovercraft and remote controller and it instantly starts working. You get around 12 minutes play time with each battery. When you reach 12 minutes, the hovercraft starts making an audible warning noise to tell you to get it back quickly before it runs out of power. This is very important if being used on water because once the power runs out, the hovercraft will sink and be ruined. This has mostly been used in the house on laminate flooring and it works perfectly. I like it, my Daughter loves it and the dogs hate it!Don't try and use it on carpet or tarmac because it won't work and will damage the air cushion underneath. We bought a second so that we could both play and interact and I was amazed when they both worked independently from the two different remote controllers. I am not sure how this works or whether there could be times one would interfere with the other, but it didn't in our case.So why three stars? Because it is very cheaply made, the design could be better to get a full water seal without screws, the battery could be bigger to give more play time and the first unit had a fault whereby turning the controller one way meant that the hovercraft would start spinning forever in a clockwise rotation (meaning there could be quality control issues in manufacturing). So this is a lot of fun and will keep kids and grownups entertained indoors or out (with the right ground surface) but don't expect a premium product in this price range. A very good way of developing fine motor skills in young children over the age of three.

Not worth it
Just rubbish. Too slow. Battery life poor. Needs to be on water with not even the slightest bit of a ripple! Not worth it

Kids love it
Interesting toy to keep the kids entertained. We took it to the local park and kids had the most fun. I wish the batteries lasted a bit longer.
