Got it for my mom as a gift since the electricity she had her previous fountain connected to is no longer an option. It started up right away, it comes with several nozzles for different spray intensity/ directions and when it finally gets dark (we're in Montana, the sun doesn't set until like 10), the lights reflect onto the leaves of the trees and bushes around the patio and it makes a lovely soothing light show- she said she catches herself and my dad gazing out the window, mesmerized by it.The only issue she had with it (I asked for the full, no holds barred opinion for the sake of this review) was that it floats around a bit more than she'd like so it goes through water fairly quickly b/c it sprays out when it floats towards the edges. She can't use the suction cups because the bowl it sits in is too deep, but she's devised a little brick anchor with a string that helps keep it in place. The good thing about this little fountain though is that it automatically shuts off if it runs out of water, so you don't have to worry about burning up the motor.All in all, this was a great birthday surprise for my mom, she said I might just find one of my own in my stocking at Christmas. If you're on the fence about buying this, just do it!

Product arrived a day later than sked, not a big deal. Placed unit in water, nothing worked. Upon reading reviews, I set in full sunlight all day with switch in night mode to charge battery. At night all lights came on and cycled through colors. Pump did not come on. I placed switch in auto and nothing changed, pump was inop. I touched pin sticking out and lights came on but no pump. I'm somewhat concerned if this was a returned unit. Upon opening box, box was apparently opened. You could see fingerprints top as well as water marks this why I'm thinking this was a returned unit. As everyone else said No Directions. I'll lay out in sun again and see what happens. Will update but for now it looks like it's going to be returned.Update: I layed out in Sun for 2 days. Switch in night then in auto. All lights came on and cycled. Pump never ran. I returned it today.Another Update: Received new unit today. Came in completely different box. It had directions in the box in 4 languages. Unit was wrapped in plastic bag as well as layer of styrofoam. Placed new unit in birdbath and immediately started working. Pump works fine and all lights light up. After receiving this new unit I'm convinced the seller who sent original one was a returned unit. They put it in a box and sent it out. This new unit just by looks and packing is the better NEW unit. And it works and the directions explain everything. Nice.

I put this fun fountain in a shallow bird bath. It was real pretty to look at through my kitchen window.

This water fountain w/lighting was an absolute joy and at a reasonable price; for the very short time it worked. Basically no set up and an impressive choice of fountain tips that you can choose from come with the kit. We preferred the Auto setting where the fountain ran during the daylight hours and would then continue into the night w/ the added feature of the changing colored lights automatically turning on at dusk.About a month and a half after we started using it; the lights began working intermittently. Some nights they would come on; others they wouldn't. The birdbath that it floats in is in complete sunlight ALL day long. A short time later, the coating that is on top of the solar panels began to turn opaque. Now, 3 months after we purchased and began using it - the top covering is completely white and it has stopped working :(We know it 's not an expensive, high quality unit but with all reasonable thinking - it's life expectancy is certainly anticipated to be longer than 3 months.I would buy again if it lasted at least a couple of seasons but I'll research other brands. Again - initially it was an enjoyable product but after appx 3 mpnths, unfortunately, completely stopped working.

The media could not be loaded. I am highly impressed with this floating fountain!! You will notice in my pics that I do not have the attachments on it. Because my birdbath is homemade, it is not the regular size of a normal bird bath. This floating fountain is perfect for my bird bath without any attachments. However, the height and spray of each of the attachments has me searching for my next project so I can enjoy all the fountain features❣️ This would be great in a pool, pond, or any other vessel that is at least 18-28 inches wide. A crystal fruit bowl is probably the smallest you can go without an attachment. I do have to occasionally refill the water throughout the day due to the small splashes but that is easy to do. I just fill up a gallon jug of water and fill it up when it’s getting low.I highly recommend this if you are looking for a cord free fountain! It is the best addition to your diy projects or something you have purchased❣️You can literally turn ANYTHING into a fountain with this floating fountain! It floats nicely! The side arms keep it stabilized in the middle of my bird bath. It also has suction cups on the bottom if you want to suction it to the bottom of your bird bath.As you can see, the lights are very bright! I waited until I had some cloudy weather to see what it was like before I wrote my review. Today was that day. It was over cast and cloudy from noon on. It only had 6 hours of bright sunlight. This afternoon, it was barely working due to the low sunlight and I wondered if it would work tonight? I am highly impressed that I am sitting on my porch writing this review and it is working perfectly!

The media could not be loaded. Met my expectations and even exceeded them in some respects. On a full charge (after a sunny day) the fountain and lights last for hours. Comes with several different nozzle configurations so I can change the shape and height of the spray, and they are super easy to swap out. Pump comes apart for ease of cleaning. It floats, but if the water isn't too deep, suction cups keep the fountain in place in the center of the bird bath. The only thing I have an issue with is not the fountain but the size of my birdbath. It's 18" across and the water tends to pump out onto the deck. A 24" receptacle would be better. This would be amazing in a garden pond or pool. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

I was able to set it up easily, following the instructions and the fountain worked immediately, switched itself off off around 20:00. Not sure whether it is too light in London at that time, for the lights to work so in order to see the coloured lights I then switched it to night time and around 21:45 the following night, the fountain switched itself on and the lights went through all the colours, which were lovely, haven’t stayed up long enough to note when it switches off. Instructions tell you that if it is switched to night the fountain will not operate during the day, but will store solar power for night time operation.

Dieser Brunnen ist wirklich sehr schön. Ich bin absolut überzeugt von dem Brunnen. Tatsächlich ist es so wie die anderen Bewertungen schreiben, also Tags und nachts schafft er nicht, dazu sind die Solarzellen und das Akku zu klein. Jedoch ist der Brunnen so schon relativ groß, wenn man ihn versucht in eine Schale zu setzen. Wenn man jetzt noch die Solarzellen Größer machen würde wäre es denke ich nur noch was für einen Teich.Ich bin absolut zufrieden auch wenn er nicht 24/7 an ist.
