Q: isthis pan cadmium and lead free

The composition is not given. However, do not buy this pan. The coating on mine has flaked off after only a few months. I had one earlier and it was great. I gave it to my daughter and got a new one. The new one is junk. I can only imagine that the company moved manufacturing to some cheaper place.

Q: I'm looking for a non-stick pan that is BPA free. The description here says, "absolutely free of... other harmful chemicals." Does that mean BPA free?

The package says it is free of PTFE and PFOA and that it is made from ceramic and is completely eco-friendly. Since BPA is a by-product of plastic and resins and this pan does not contain either then that would suggest that it is BPA free.

Q: Is this induction ready?

I have limited knowledge of the induction process, but I believe that it involves the use of ferrous metals, and I doubt that there are ferrous metals in this pan. I you like, I will get a magnet tomorrow and find that out, but I'm quite busy now. J
