Bearington Cairn Terrier Stuffed Animal, 13 Inch Realistic Stuffed Animal

I ORDERED THIS LITTLE YORKIE BECAUSE I LIVE ALONE AND AM NOW HANDICAPPED AND CANNOT HAVE A REAL DOG. SHE LOOKS JUST LIKE MY LITTLE CUP SIZE YORKIE THAT PAST TWO YEARS AGO. I STILL MISS HER. SHE WAS MY CONSTANT COMPANION. THIS ONE IS A LOT BIGGER THAN MY 2 LB. PUPPY WAS, BUT SHE REMINDS ME OF HER. SHE IS SOFT AND SO REAL LOOKING IT KIND OF TAKES YOU BACK A BIT. SHE SITS AND DOESN'T BARK JUST LIKE MY FRITZIE DID. IT TOOK ME A SECOND TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS PRECIOUS LITTLE STUFFED YORKIE. SHE IS PERFECT FOR THIS 82 YEAR OLD GREAT GRANDMA. I love this little yorkie. Super soft to the touch hair, and materials unlike the more common coarse fur on most stuffies. Feels very close to the real thing. Tail could have been done better. It's tan rather the common black. And it's a little too bushy, thick, and stubby for what I'm used to seeing as a docked yorkie tail (image two). It doesn't really bother me too much anymore. Its bow appears to be easily removed, but not easily replaced without some sewing skills under your belt. The bow is held on by a thread wrapped around a portion of its hair. This bit of hair could be brushed to blend with the rest of its hair after bow removal (image four). The company's recommended age of three and over seems fair since it has a bow, a plastic nose, and plastic eyes, all of which could possibly be chewed off by an active teether (image three). Five and over would be my personal recommendation just to play it safe.Five stars for Softness, Giftable, and five stars Overall. Four stars for Value for Money only because of its tail. (Guess it does still bug me a bit. LOL!)I bought this after losing my little one at the end of April. I couldn't handle her empty bed, and my broken heart wouldn't let me put the bed away. It'll be three months on July 20th. This little joy is still sitting in the bed (image one), propped up, looking out excited, with the same type of expression just like my sweet little girl would have done (image six). It still fools my brain from time to time when I walk into the livingroom. This fantastic little stuffie will be staying just as she is until I'm ready for a new pup in my life.If you've suffered a pet loss, and are still grieving, it's a wonderful stand-in while you make the adjustment to the absence of your best friend. Its softness would also make it a wonderful gift for friends or family.I'm completely happy with the purchase of this wee one. 💗💗

I got this little guy to help build my skills in grooming without the dangers of hurting a real dog and it worked very well! Hair was a good texture and you can run clippers over it! Would recommend to anyone looking to do what I did! As a typical kids toy, I think it is very durable and soft! Would make a great gift for a yorkie fan!!

chewy is adorable; however is is not quite so cute in person as he is on the website. He is my new companion.

Bought this for my sister with dementia. She loves holding it in her lap, it looks so much like the yorkie she once had and it makes her happy. Recommend.
