Sun JoeSPX-UQC Universal Brass/Aluminum Pressure Washer Garden Hose Quick-Connect Kit

So far I haven't been able to even connect the garden hose to the disconnect, the threads aren't correct, doesn't screw on. I can get the other part in the pressure washer no problem but the hose wont connect and I even have an aqua joe hose, everything is brand new so I called sun joe, the customer service so far has been top notch, I did explain the situation and the rep said it should work so they’re sending a new one, I told him that I am pretty sure it’s the threads, the rep thinks it could be a problem with the individual unit I have but I don’t believe so, I think the new one won’t work either but I’ll give it a try. I’m going toga eat to buy a disconnect kit if the new one still can’t screw on which is disappointing. If the new one they send works I will come back and update this to 5 stars

The design of the quick connect, is supposed to be simple but the mechanism that releases the three steel balls so you can remove or attach are somewhat blocked even if you hold down the release ring.Inside there is an o-ring embedded on the sides, you cannot get at it, isn't properly inserted and then it becomes SO hard to remove or connect. I am returning this item and wished I had searched the reviews as many have had the same problem. Stay away or keep trying until you get a good one.

Quick disconnects are a must to eliminate all the hose twisting issues. But one that doesn'tleak would be even more useful. The solid brass units are far superior to this plastic / brass / aluminum item.Sun Joe should sell this in a pressure washer hose connection kit, along with "ALL THE REQUIRED SOLID BRASS DISCONECTS ( 3 IN TOTAL)Come on Sun Joe: Happy customers = more sales!

When i purchased my pressure washer, the garden hose connector was loose and leaking right away.This easy connection is by far better and durable. I would recommend purchasing it even if your pressure washer isn't leaking. The quick connect is a must!
