The sterile pads are good; and for my uses deserve 5 stars. However, the top was torn off the box & put in the delivery container with the box of gauze pads. Sending out a torn-up box deserves 0 stars.

These pads are perfect for those inevitable bumps, scrapes, and minor cuts that come with the territory of parenting. The 100 count is great, because let’s face it – kids seem to find every sharp object in the house when you’re least expecting it.The gauze pads are sterile, soft, and easy to use, making cleaning up wounds way less stressful. They’re also just the right size for small injuries, and they don’t fall apart when you need them most. These gauze pads are not 12-ply. At best they are 2-ply, very thin, not worth the money I spent. Sorry, I wouldn't recommend these for children's first aid kits. That's what I purchased them for. Amazon emailed me, told me my original review couldn't be posted. MY REVIEW STANDS. I'M NOT CHANGING IT TO LIE. That wouldn't be an accurate review. Post it, don't post, I don't care.

gauze is very loosely woven, and I needed a tighter-weave gauze

I'm diabetic, and do blood glucose testing 2-3 times per day, and one insulin injection daily. These pads are perfect. I really just needed something inexpensive to help stop blood flow for a few seconds following a small puncture. I have been using these pads for a long time now, and would definitely recommend them for that purpose.
