Waldosia Great Composers Bust Statuette Set w/Artemis and Michelangelo's David Figurines

These are well made and are perfect for music teachers to use in music history lessons and in music history games. I bought them to use in music history time capsules so the small size was good. I'd love to have some more of different composers. I can't think of any use for the David statue, I wish it had been another composer. But I will use the Grecian statue when I teach Greek music history and modes.

I like the idea of having the composers bust for my music collection. Following things is a negative …… 1. They are not 6 “ but 3”, 2. The bust of David & the lady should be removed from the set & 2 more composers added. Some of composer’s names are on the bust & some are missing the names.

I bought these for my husband and he loved them. I just wish they were a little bigger.

Not fancy but a good value for the money compared to other sets and singles. Bought as a gift and the recipient was delighted.

These are not exactly what I was looking for - but they'll do. I was surprised by how small they are! Very tiny compared to other composer busts I've used in my classroom (and no, I don't mean larger than can be carried in a child's hand.)They'll work for what I need, but it was a little disappointing.

I like the statues a lot! They are great reproductions of the composer’s likenesses and are a nice quality. However, the product description and the box (see the pictures) say “6inch”, and they are not 6 inches. They are each a little less than 3 inches. I’m still going to use them as gifts for my piano students, but this could be more clear.

Les objets que j'avais commandés - un ensemble de petits bustes en moulage blanc - sont arrivés en excellent état, malgré leur fragilité. Chacun d'entre eux était très bien emballé séparément dans du plastique à bulles. Les moulages sont soignés et précis, manifestement exécutés avec soin. On peut simplement regretter que leur taille soit vraiment petite (7 à 8 cm. de hauteur) : il est assez difficile et laborieux de les utiliser pour s'entraîner à dessiner des "plâtres", comme j'avais l'intention de le faire. Mais ces dimensions réduites avaient été clairement indiquées dans la description du produit. Il serait souhaitable de pouvoir se procurer des moulages de cette qualité, mais sensiblement plus grands.

Our son loves these and has the full set displayed in his bedroom.

Mein 10-jähriger Sohn, der Klavier spielt, ist begeistert von den Büsten und sammelt sie in seiner Vitrine ein, anstatt der Autos, die jetzt in die restlichen Spielsachen eingezogen sind. Ab und zu steckte ich die Büste in die Tasche des Adventskalenders. Und er wartet darauf, dass dort eine weitere kleine Skulptur auftaucht. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass ihm dies so viel Freude macht. Ich denke, so wird er sich visuell schneller daran erinnern, wie die Komponisten aussehen. Er erkannte einige sofort. Das Set enthält auch die Figur des Königs David von Michelangelo und Muse Polygynia, wie ich es verstehe. Dies eröffnete meinem Pianisten neue Wissenshorizonte. Die Büsten sind etwa 7-8 cm, aber sorgfältig bis ins kleinste Detail geformt und sehr schön. Gerne wieder.
