So Why Would You Purchase A Product With Such Bad Reviews ?

Well my hairdresser from Hell instead of doing a little 1/2 inch from scalp of dark color(like an Ombre or something) on my beautiful natural-grown Platinum Beige hair, decided to make it 98% dark brown down to roots. You could end in hell for that, if there was a hell. And she refused to take the dark brown out because of the resultant gold color from the peroxide used to make that dark brown color that would result. You don't want more peroxide, so you try the other route, Oops.I did 25 minutes of the rinse total. And lo and behold, the dark was out, but the gold, not caused by Opps, showed up. I was fully expecting it would not work, based on the reviews, but it certainly did.Thank you Opps, for a very good alternative. It allowed me to avoid the 30 volume peroxide color remover route. Peroxide bad, Damages hair.I really didn't see any damage to my hair after, sadly the peroxide gold remains until I figure out what to do about it, or wait a year for it to grow out. The gold in my case was not really all that terrible, it was not all over my head, just in streaks, and is not that noticeable.Opps does not deserve the negative reviews at all.

Doesn't work for me

It was ok. I assumed maybe cause my house is always freezing that maybe that's why the previous two times I've used this product it didn't work, but no. I tried a couple times again after heating my place up and it still didn't work super well. It takes a lot of the color out, but most is still left over. Super conditioning, though, so that's a plus!

Works like a dream!

Cons: Stinks! Do it outside if you can!Pros: easily removed the copper blonde I experimented with and then grew to hate after 2-3 weeks! (I have natural dirty blonde hair that’s been colored lighter for years).I have long hair and used 2 and a half bottles, my very inexperienced husband was kind enough to assist me so I made sure to have enough product that he really couldn’t mess it up and he did a great job.I used an anti-residue shampoo in the shower for the first shampoo followed by 20 min rinsing. Then the last two shampoos I used my usual elvive dream lengths shampoo that felt more nourishing in my hair. Followed up with a good soaking in Its A 10 Ketatib mask and my hair feels great! I did not have damaged hair to start with though.I was left with a bit yellower of a golden blonde than my previous color but honestly, I will dye it close to my root color and call it a day and I’m very happy!

NO NO FOR NATURALLY DARK HAIR

Product didn’t do what it promised. My natural hair color was a dark brunette and I had been dying my hair red for over two years and this product only made the faded red worse!!!!!!!!! Took the red and turned it into a yellow orange!!!! VERY unhappy with the end product! (The smell was terrible and it sunk up my hair and house!!!!!!)

It worked okay

This product worked ok. It did lift a bit out and didn’t hurt my natural color. It did not work as well as I hoped. A friend of mine said she uses it all the time and it works perfectly for her so maybe it’s just my hair. It did lift enough to change the color without having the bleach my hair and that’s what I was going for. It smells awful and after following the instructions about washing my hair five times and rinsing for like an hour it still smelled. Over all a decent product and will probably use again

Amazing

Just wanna say Thanks! I'm a natural redhead and have been dying my hair box black permanent dye for years. I was told by a hair professional that there was no way I could get the box dye out. I was just gonna shave it off instead of wait for it to grow it out . But I stumbled upon Color Oops [Extra conditioning] on Amazon and decided to try it out. Color Oops saved my hair! "

my hair turned green?

ok, so it did get off a ton of dye, but it also turned my hair green. 🙃 clearly it reacted to something on my hair and didn’t love it, but i have no clue what it was. i had pink, purple, and brown in my hair and somehow got green. maybe do a test strand like they suggest lol

Worked really well!

I went from a dark intense burgundy back my highlighted hair with one application. I was very impressed to see that all the deep burgundy tones were gone. Be patient with the process and follow all instructions. I used purple shampoo and a deep conditioning hair mask and my hair was very soft. The smell is not the best, but it was bearable. I was very happy with the results.
