Good book, arrived partly wet
The book itself is very good, but it arrived partly wet, so I had to dry / press it and it is still not in perfect shape unfortunately.

A Wonderful Book
When my son decided to learn Lebanese cooking, I bought him this book. It’s perfect with lots of pictures. The recipes are easy to implement and the results are great. It’s the perfect book to teach our children how to prepare delicious Lebanese dishes. I recommend this book.

Il libro è pieno di fotografie in quanto OGNI ricetta è illustrata nel suo risultato finale, ed alcune anche nelle fasi di preparazione. Le foto sono grandi ed invogliano a replicare le ricette; queste sono deliziose, intriganti e mantengono le delizie che promettono., anche perchè sono facili e ben spiegate. Un bel libro per chi desideri avvicinarsi a questa cucina ricca di profumi a noi noti ma con variazioni insolite.

This is the Lebanese cookbook I have been waiting for..
I have several others but I never really felt the impulse to cook from them. This is excellent, however. It takes the simple everyday dishes and very clearly lays out what you need to do to get the right result. The "Maza" are very good - I liked the chickpeas with tahini, the smoky aubergine salad and the potatoes with chilli and coriander the best. But they all look good (although have to admit that many of my efforts didn't quite match the pictures!).Not a big beef eater but the recipes looked fine. The chicken dishes are outstanding - particularly the Arabian Cardamon dish. And there are seventeen vegetarian options - which I haven't yet worked all my way through but the potato special was very tasty.There is a good general guide to the food, the oils, spices and other ingredients used. So very practical and down to earth. 80-90 recipes in all.It is a nice piece of book production at a reasonable price.Highly recommended.
