Rio Beach Wonder Cart-Beach Table Cart

After years of lugging multiple beach chairs, beach bag, bodyboards, and a cooler to the beach I decided to buy a beach cart like everyone else to be smart enough to use. I selected the Rio Beach Wonder mainly because of its lower price (because I can only make it to the beach 3-4 times per year and I couldn't justify paying more) and because of the table aspect.So first, the functionality: If it's not evident, this is on the smaller side of the carts. There are some that quite easily can handle a beach haul for a family of six. This one is better suited to two or three over the sanded wasteland. The wheels are large enough to handle dunes fairly well and the use of a strap with the net bag will take some experimentation to determine what works best for you. I would be great if the bag could be attached to the other side of the cart for travel because once you put a few items such as a blanket or some towels in, you start to lose the prime chair and board space. I was able to get two boards and two chairs secured with a small bag on top with little problem.Next is the more unique aspect of this Cart, the table. Honestly, I found this to be really useful at the beach. There are four "insulated" drink holders and the table space is long enough to actually be useful. Great for keeping your meal off the sand or for kids to play a board game or coloring books on. Or, if you're with that special someone they can plop their purse on it for display like the Aztec golden idol from Indiana Jones.If you don't need bring a car load of items to the beach this is a great place to start!

This is probably my 2nd negative review I've written on Amazon and I buy almost everything on here. I've been a loyal Prime member for over 7 years now. I am giving this a 1 star because this product really pissed me off. If is was possible, I would rate it as negative 5 stars; that's how useless this "beach cart" is. First, I doubt that the inventor of this thing ever tested it on sand, which blows my mind. I took this useless thing to the beach and here is a list of my items. (1) beach umbrella, (4) beach towels, (1) cheap Wal-Mart folding beach chair, (deflated) beach floating toy, and a small Styrofoam cooler from the super market. as soon as you strap everything down, the cart falls forward. It would not hold the weight of my beach items and this is just a bit of stuff for only 1 person. It will be impossible for a family to even use this. so, you basically have to hold the cart the entire time while still loading it and preventing it from falling. How practical is that? you cant even keep loading your things unless its leaned up against your car or you ask a stranger to hold it for you so that you strap it down. Second, the mesh bag is what made my blood pressure go through the roof. The Mesh bag is useless. USELESS!!!!! YOU CANT EVEN FIT NORMAL SIZED BEACH TOWELS IN IT. How crazy is that? Third and the most important lacking feature is, the stupid wheels. You would think they would be made for the sand, right? I mean, it is a beach cart. Hint, hint Inventor. THESE WHEELS SANK IN THE SAND. I have never struggled so hard at the beach like I did with this stupid thing. It was horrible. I was basically dragging all of my things through the sand. Sweat pouring down my entire body during the hottest hour of the day. This cart did not make my trip to the beach easier, if anything, it made it worst. I was better off hauling everything myself like usually then using this cart. I am returning this item with no hesitation. The description of the cart is not accurate online. I will end this on a positive note. The table feature was the only thing I liked but not worth the impracticality of this cart. So, I'm just going to order a folding beach chair and call it a day. I do not recommend this item to anyone.

Item came very well packaged and was easy to assemble. You only had to add the wheels to the base. I'm looking forward to using it on my upcoming trip to Florida. As other reviews mention, it isn't large enough to carry a lot. Maybe a small cooler and chair. But you definitely won't be able to carry a larger cooler. The shelf is narrow and it would take up space for the chairs.My only two complaints where this could have been a 5 star product are the umbrella holder and the mesh bag. The blue "cup" part that the umbrella sits in is floppy and moves a lot. There isn't a solid base to it to hold it in place, so honestly I'm expecting my umbrella to fall out when I'm moving this cart around. It should be deeper and have a pull tie to secure it. Secondly, the mesh bag that is attached is a great feature but also is wide open and there isn't any pull tie system or Velcro flap to hold the items inside. It's fine when it is upright. But when you lay it down, items may fall out.

Bought this last minute for a trip to Florida because making several trips across 200 yards of deep, sandy beach wasn’t appealing to me. It carried the bulk of my fishing gear with no problem. I stacked it with a large tackle box on bottom & a 5-gallon bait pail on top of that. The “umbrella holder” worked great for 5 fishing poles. In the mesh bag I had my cast net, several bottles of soda, and several rod holders that get driven into the sand. When I got to my spot, the table aspect worked great to keep my tackle box out of the sand & gave me somewhere to put anything else I needed to keep clean. In table mode the mesh bag hangs just high enough to keep anything in it out of the sand, as well. With this and my free hand I was able to take everything I needed in one trip. The wide wheels worked as well as any in the really soft sand. All things considered, I’m happy with the purchase & would recommend it to anyone else not wanting to spend $150 on a beach cart that can’t even fold flat for storage.

Just came back from a beach vacation where I stayed further away from the ocean front than I usually do. Bought this anticipating the 1/2 mile walk would be easier and, oh boy, was it! We took the cooler, umbrella, two chairs and our towel bag on this and it made things so much easier. I saw people with larger carts that looked as awesome but this one folds down easy and is sized perfect for our family or two adults and two young kids. I used 3 extra bungee cords in addition to the one it comes with to make sure nothing fell off.

It effectively carried my umbrella along with a cooler and a picnic basket.It wasn't too hard to pull along for the most partHowever, while in use each wheel fell off 2 times (total 4 times though my journey which was probably about 40 minutes each way.It's hard to pull across the sand but that's acceptable.The table top bent a bit but that was because I tired using the built in basket and put the cooler on it which is a definite no go

One wheel fell off after third day of use on beach. Held its shape, great little table for lunch once turned over. Too bad for the fallen wheel, will have to fix it.

Wheel kept coming off while rolling on beach and sidewalk. Handle is compressed when you add beach chairs so it’s hard to hold. Perhaps good for two people but defined not for family. The table was an amazing addition!

Ce charriot comporte certaines lacunes dont la poignée trop basse, les roues difficiles à enclencher et sa manoeuvrabilité qui laisse à désirer. Tout ça devient très lourd à supporter quand on ajoute 2 chaises et 1 parasol. Je ne le rachèterais pas.
