The media could not be loaded.  What a life saver! I recently had cause to access an app that was on my old 1st generation iPad. Of course, the pad would be dead, the wall charger in pristine condition, and the original cable frayed and totally unusable. I hated the idea of looking for an Apple cable not knowing how much this would set me back but surprise surprise. There seems to be hundreds of choices for ‘apple iPad 1st generation cable’, that were reasonably priced and hopefully work. I settled on the Cabax 3. For an old style (almost vintage) 30-pin cable it was not only reasonably priced, but it had good reviews and Prime next day delivery which was the clincher for me. The bonus was it came with a lifetime no hassle warranty. I couldn’t be happier.The cable appears of decent quality and solidly constructed. The 30-pin connector plugged directly into the iPad without issue, and ditto for the USB end into the original power charger block. The zero percent battery on the iPad recognized the connection almost immediately. I have to admit, I was rather shocked to see the Apple logo so quickly when connected to a power source. This pad was 100% dead as a door nail and not used for a few years. On the other hand, it took much longer to charge than what I remembered. I started charging at 2:42pm and at 8:22pm it was only at 84% when I decided to wait until morning for 100%. You have to be patient when working with old devices. Anyway, the cable works! I have now used it to resuscitate both my first & second generation iPads! No hassles and no complaints. Highly recommend!!! 5 stars!

My son recently found my old iPod and wanted to check it out, but we had no more of these old plugs. I bought this one, and it really works just fine. We’ve had no issues with it so so far and it’s been just about a month.

I needed a charging cable for an old 4th generation Apple iPad nano mp3 player. I had read a number of reviews of various replacement cables for this device before I purchased it. My only complaint is that the 30-pin connector end fits extremely tight in its iPod nano socket. It took a lot of effort to remove it once inserted. I knew from other reviews of other manufacturers’ replacement cables that some had damaged the sockets of their iPod devices. For this reason I was very careful. I held the connector on the sides between my thumb an index finger and had to slightly rock it from side to side to free it up and remove it. I proceeded to do this (insert & remove) about 20 times to make its fit conform better. I can live with it now and anyway, I don’t really need to fully insert it when charging or when syncing with iTunes.

I thought I lost my iPod 7th ten. Found it in an old box but the cord was gone. Bought this one, plugged it and it charged immediately, and I've had no issues with the cord at all. Good quality.
