ACDelco GM Original Equipment MU1743 Fuel Pump and Level Sensor Module with Seal, Float, and Harness

This pump is an exact fit and replacement for the factory pump. Simple to replace and works flawlessly. Great price and product.

This came with everything needed to replace the original fuel pump assembly. Other, cheaper aftermarket units have a different plug that requires the installer to cut the old wiring harness off and crimp in the new one. What a pain! This unit comes with a harness if needed, but I did not need it.I bought this unit, even though my fuel pump had not (yet) failed. Actually, the fuel sender failed so my fuel gauge was unreliable. I looked at the Dorman replacement fuel level senders but another reviewer indicated that he replaced his sender only and had a pump failure shortly after. I opted to replace it all. I chose this one, compared with the cheaper units, for three reasons:1. It fits, with no additional monkeying around needed.2. I have struggled with aftermarket parts elsewhere on my 2001 Impala LS, but had good luck only with genuine ACDelco replacement parts. I hate paying the price but gee whiz, if they work and they fit, they're worth it.3. It comes with all the parts needed and good instructions.After receiving the unit, I noticed also that the fuel sender unit was upgraded - they had improved the very part that failed before. Additionally, the sediment filter was changed to an internal unit that doesn't flop around making a mess.All in all, I have to recommend this as a direct replacement for your GM vehicle.

installed and working fine so far. the hose connections are horrible to change in my buick, no fault of this kit. the price was almost half of that offered by local discount chain stores. be sure to get new hose clamp/locks. removal of old ones can be destructive to the clamps, New clips are not difficult to install on your oem lines. to cut old lines and install extensions, to me, was not a viable option. connection required heat shrink of the new lines! again not unique to this part. excellent price.

The pump was used. It is advertised as new. No harness. No screen. Dirty, and cracked seal.

worked perfectly... all connectors matched my pontiac 02 grand prix..no wiring to modify.. i only wish they would provide new hose clips for the in/out and breather hoses.. you can transfer from old but it is tricky to remove and not break..

easy direct replacement no wires to cut. Fixed the check engine light for evaporation system code. Fixed the fuel level gauge.

I purchased and installed this in my "03" Imapala. After install, I noticed a loud drone noise from the pump area. The thing was making a steady hum. To much to be considered acceptable. I returned to Amazon No problem. I probably just got a bad one I would guess.......

Works just fine. Wish It was simply a plugin electric connection unit but the rewire process was not all that bad. Not really the fault of the product however as it's a upgraded connector as GM poorly designed the original on the car.
