I've lost track of how long I've owned this for now...8 months or so? Best French Press I've ever owned. Press actually goes all the way to the bottom, lid fits securely, the bronze casing hasn't scraped the glass like I thought it would, it's awesome. I haven't even had to swap out the screen yet which I thought I'd have to by now. To clean it I usually just rinse the whole press out with hot water and wipe it down, and disassemble the metal and mesh screening to rinse out the grounds and it's fine. Once a week or so I run it through the dishwasher (supposedly a big no-no, I know) but it's held up fine.

As you can see, my new French Press has made my coffee cup very happy.     This is a very stylish press--- the lid and plunger glide very smoothly and it's got some heft to it so it stays put when in use.   The screens are very effective and are NOT cheap in design.   I've been using it every day for a week now and it does a consistent job of keeping the grounds and the fine particles OUT.    I'm very fussy about that last cup--- it's the one that usually has that bitter residue but the screen/plunger mechanism does a great job and keeping that stuff out-- even in the last cup.I read the other reviews and based my purchase on the positive comments.    I am very happy and so is my coffee cup.  Thank you for making such a great product.

This press has saved my life nearly every morning since I have bought it. My only issue is that after nearly a year, the copper trim has started to peel in some places. If you want to avoid this, take out the glass part and HAND WASH the copper container while the glass is free to go through the dishwasher. Other than this, excellent product.

It's very nice, it's a little bigger an what I had in mind. Comes with some extra screens which is nice. Had it for a little more than a month and it's solid and washes easy.

I wish I had bought this sooner! Six tablespoons of dark roast, boiling water, stir, wait 5 minutes, press slowly- perfect!

We’ve had this for about a week and the entire glass compartment cracked and broke In half while my husband was hand washing it! It worked fine up until this point, but now it’s obviously unusable. He did not use excessive force while washing it, we hand wash all of our dishes.

I LOOOOVE MY FRENCH COFFEE PRESS! IT IS EVEN PRETTIER IN PERSON! I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY GIVE YOU A SECOND FILTER. IT IS EVERYTHING! MY ONLY SUGGESTION TO THE COMPANY IS THAT THEY SMOOTH THE INSIDE OF THE COPPER SO THAT IT IS EASY TO TOUCH. PLEASE BE CAREFUL, AS I WENT TO CLEAN THE INSIDE OF IT, I CUT MY KNUCKLE. IT WAS PRETTY SHARP. I'VE ALREADY SENT THIS INFORMATION TO THE COMPANY. OTHER THEN SMOOTHING THE INSIDE OF IT, IT IS PERFECT!

I purchased this with very high hopes that we would get a ton of use out of it but after only a uses the Glass insert broke. it broke when I went to remove it for cleaning. The unit works well but if you are looking for something that will last a long time i would look ant a unit without glass.

Overall, it's a decent product. The resulting flavour of the coffee is nice. However, the lid is loose. It doesn't fit exactly, wiggles a bit and results in an uneven stream while pouring so it spills if I'm not extremely careful while pouring. I really wanted to like it!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! So convenient and sturdy. I love the look and the handle is very fitting. I can have a good grip on it with out it slipping.

I love this, and it made the best cup of coffee. It is very well made, and is just a beautiful piece to put in my kitchen! I have now become very fond of the copper color, and are looking for more items to compliment this!

Out of the box, the bonVIVO is a great looking kitchen accessory. The bronze finish is very appealing and classy looking. The press itself works very well and the parts can be disassembled easily for cleaning. The large capacity makes brewing coffee for several people very easy, and the filter and screen work very well to keep the grains out of the coffee being poured. This is a great product that I would recommend to anyone who wants to brew their own coffee using a french press.
