Growing Through Prayer: A Love God Greatly Bible Study Journal Paperback – December 19, 2015

This is one of the best Bible study journals that I've ever bought! What sets this journal apart are the coloring pages and the guided space to write in a relaxing manner that is not overwhelming. Love the format! I will definitely purchase more in the future!3/8/2016Now that I've completed the 8 week study, I would like to add to the review that I posted before the study began.I've facilitated a Love God Greatly group for a little over two years now. I'm always blessed and have grown so much during this time. However, I have to share with you and thank you so much for all of your hard work and dedication, particularly with the Growing Through Prayer study.This study has radically transformed my life as I learned how to truly pray and draw closer to God during this time! The irony is that, since January 6th, which is close to the beginning of the study, I have been on medical leave, have learned about living with extreme pain and pain management, and have learned to embrace the gift of time to go deeper in my spiritual life than ever before! God has taken this hardship and difficulty and turned it into something good, just as He always makes beauty from ashes😊.When I look back over the things that I wrote during the first week of the study compared to now, there is a remarkable difference! That is part of the incredible value of the study guide. The memory verse coloring pages also brought wonderful comfort and helped me to relax as I meditated upon God's Word in the midst of the most intense pain of my life. I'm so thankful for all of the time, energy, and money that the Love God Greatly Team invested in this amazing study!

Another exceptional Bible study and journal from Love God Greatly! The title is exactly right, Growing Through Prayer. It is obvious that considerable thought and great attention went into choosing the daily and weekly scriptures. I thought I knew a lot about prayer prior to this study, but this has opened up my mind and my heart to know and understand so much more of what prayer is - this incredible relationship and treasure that God created for believers! And I love the prayer pages, memory verse coloring pages, SOAP pages, and reflection questions, but I also love that there is ample room to write my thoughts and responses, and all in the perfect sized paperback for the perfect price. If you truly want to have a better understanding of prayer, you can't go wrong with this study and this journal. You really do take a journey on how to Love God Greatly!!!

With LGG studies you get theologically sound BIBLE study. This is different than most women’s studies, which is a sad truth. There is no fluff, opinion, or misapplication of the Lords words. The study teaches YOU to read your Bible, rely on our teacher - the Holy Spirit and spend time with the Lord.I loved the added perk of this study - beautiful pages that you can color as well.

I have been part of this bible study group for many years and love the professionally printed study guide! This is the first one I have tried and I will definitely buy one for each study going forward. The quality is excellent, the layout is so useable...plenty of space to write in, etc. And I LOVE the scripture coloring pages...a lovely way to meditate on each verse. I have also fallen into the habit of assigning a prayer to each part of a design and praying over that as I am coloring that portion. A great study guide altogether!

These journals are such a beautiful addition to the study. I love the coloring at the beginning of each week. It allows for time to slow down, focus on Gods word and say each word in the verse and let it truly soak in. I love this part because it clears my mind then I set and read all the scriptures provide for that week and allow it to begin resonating within my heart. I love the space to journal, write thoughts and prayers and even doodle a little. These journals added so much depth to an already great biblestudy.

I'm halfway through this study and I really like the way it's set up. The cover is gorgeous and there are corresponding blog posts on lovegodgreatly.com. My biggest pet peeve with most Bible study booklets is that there is not enough space for my sloppy handwriting, not so with this one. They give you a nice, large chunk of area to SOAP, and for reflections at the end of each week. I think this is a great study to introduce (or refresh) a healthy prayer practice.

Of the three books I brought Quieting Your Heart Six-Month Bible Study Journal, Sermon Notes Journal for Ladies, I think this will be my favorite. It is interactive which is exactly what I was looking for questions for me to answer every room for the answers.

I think this book is a great value for the money and very pretty. I wish it was slightly smaller, but it's not a huge deal. I would also pay a little more for spiral bound, and in that case, the size would be fine. I think the coloring pages for each week are a fun addition. It's nice having all the verses right in the book. Using the book adds more depth to this study because of the weekly prayer focus and reflection questions. Highly recommend.

A beautifully designed and practical bible study journal. I love every feature, especially the colouring pages and the reflection questions and the reminder of the bottom of the pages to check blog post on specific days are very useful. I recommend this study journal to everyone who wants to dig deep in the word of God either in group or solo.

It's a lovely book, obviously still working through it, but it's giving meaning and depth to my daily prayer life. Find it quite challenging at times, but that can only be good.
