Comfortable chair good back support easy to fold

This Rio beach chair was exactly as described. It’s hard when most chairs are so low to the beach, to get out of. This is wonderful to have a chair with height. And I like the wide arm rests. And it’s lightweight as well. I do wish it came with a strap you could carry as a backpack instead of just a strap though.

So far so good. We were looking for new beach chairs that sit higher as the ones we normally get are so low to the ground, and it’s become harder and harder to get in/out of the last couple of years. These are perfect. Very lightweight, comfortable, very easy to get in/out of! I still plan to give this chair 5 stars because it really is a great chair, however I do have just two complaints that I wish were different:1. The cup holder. While it’s nice having a durable/built-in cup holder, it’s very shallow. If your cup is full you’re good but as it gets close to empty and if the wind picks up, it’ll fall out or it may just fall out if you bump it by accident.2. I almost wish there was some sort of detachable headrest. Using a folded towel works for now, but a headrest is something we are used to and this style doesn’t have it.It’s really hard trying to find the “perfect” beach chair, but this is pretty close.

I wish the fabric on the chairs had some padding. Otherwise awesome chairs- high backs, places to put stuff like your phone or beverages. Even a bottle opener included!!

This chair is exactly as pictured, color is great, easy to fold, the wider arms definitely a plus.. handy phone & cup holder wide enough for most larger tumblers, side pouch for ice, sunscreen, keys..etc. Height of 17" from ground is something that I was wanting, the reclining positions are all useable. Bottle opener if needed!!! I have previously owned Tommy Bahama chairs but this one has several Extra Features that make it a better chair for a relaxing Beach Day!!

I suffer from a back injury and this is the best beach chair for me..it’s a high leg beach chair, so I don’t have to strain myself lowering myself into the chair..

The Rio Gear Beach 17" Extended Height Folding Beach Chair is perfect for those of us who want to enjoy the sun and sand but not have to struggle to get out of a low beach chair. This chair offers more comfort and functionality than a regular beach chair. Its extended height of 17 inches is approximately 6 inches higher off the ground than regular beach chairs. The built-in cup holder and bottle opener are awesome. The waterproof pouch is a great convenient addition to store your keys, wallet, mobile phone, whatever! I will never go back to using a low beach chair. This is a must-have for those with mobility difficulty or those who want a better higher view.

I have waited a long time to post this review. I spend a lot of time decided on this chair for some of the reasons that it seemed to be well made and would last a long time. The second time I used this chair the frame bent by just sitting in it. I am definitely within the weight limit for this chair and had done nothing to damage it when this happened. I contactedThe company and they sent me a chair that was Tommy Bahama and much less quality than the one I bought. It was also very unattractive in my opinion. Soon as I removed it from the box I noticed that one of the arms was tilting in so I took a picture and sent it to the company. I requested that they give me the same chair I paid for or to refund my money. When I picked up the chair to return it to the box the entire handle fell off. The manufacturer sent me a replacement which again was a much lesser chair than my original one andExactly like the first replacement. When I called customer service they told me there was nothing they could do about it. So now I have a very ugly beach chair that has none of the features of my original chair. In my experience you would be better off trying a different company. There are plenty of them out there so stay away from the Rio or Tommy Bahama chair.

Loved the colours and is high enough off the ground ..can’t wait until next summer et go sit comfortably at the beach….
