Great product to buy, worth it.
This thing is great. My son loves driving it around the backyard. I did add a tire tread to the rear wheels and it improved the handling and drivability a ton. Super cheap too, Get a 27" tire cut it and then screw it into the tires. It is very large though and hard to get through gates and fences but not impossible. The battery lasts a long time and we only have to charge it every day under heavy use. Otherwise he can get two days or so out of the battery. I got the camo version and the graphics are top notch. Looks are spot on as well to the shape and style.

2 working seatbelts! Bold bright colors
Bought for my 4yr old daughter for her birthday. I didn't want to go with the traditional pink everything. This model also was the only one of the 3 peg perego to have 2 seatbelts. It has a working horn which is cute. I like that my daughter has to hold the lever in reverse when backing up and as soon as she lets go the truck goes back into drive so she can't unexpectedly go backwards. The truck has so much power that on the sidewalk when she hits the gas (in the slow mode) the tires just spin a few times before getting traction. I'm glad it has a way to limit the speed until she's ready because even at the slow speed, it's at a fast walking pace to keep up with her.The truck works perfect in grass, doesn't spin at all. Much much better on grass! The tires are a hard plastic, some different brands have a rubber strip in the middle of the plastic tire and I can see why that would help. Again, this one doesn't have that. On uneven pavement like sidewalks sometimes it loses traction and will only spin one rear wheel. We don't have a large back or front yard so she has to drive it on the sidewalk to park down the street. But like I mentioned, this thing is amazing on grass and grassy hills, baseball fields you name it.Assembly was a little time consuming, the directions were easy to read but there are many steps. ALL the decals including the camouflage all have to be put on, there are 3-4 large decal sheets. The decals are very good quality but there's a lot to do. The truck comes fully charged and ready to drive. The box arrived undamaged and you have to sign for it. The box is very large so we had it put into our garage by the carrier. You can buy an additional battery to increase the run time and there's a built in spot next to the existing battery for it. Easy to access and charge. Also both seats have adjustable mounts to move forward or back, but you have to take the seat off then place in the more comfortable position. My daughter is on the small side so the seat is all the way forward and she can easily reach the gas peddle. She also can see over the windshield so don't think that the mesh will be a problem, it won't.

A huge hit for my 4yr old nephew
This is the second Peg Perego product I've purchased, the other being the John Deere tractor. Battery life is decent, although competitors offer a 24V battery. This one is only 12V. Assembly was a PITA because the directions were NOT great, particularly when it came to putting on the wheels. Entire steps were missing, and I had to manage through trial and error. Leave yourself some time, because it does take a while. A little pricey for the overall quality, but it was worth it because my nephew loved it.

Kids, parents, grandparents love it. tough little toy
all the kids enjoy this little buggy. We often have large family gatherings where kids of all ages are here and about 7 kids of all ages had this thing stuck out in the woods climbing all over it, pushing it around, crowding in it at once .. you name it and it's still ticking along for my 3 year old grand babies. I wouldn't recommend having this kind of use or abuse but it lived and lived well. I wish it had better traction. it works great on lawns, gravel driveways and low will climb a small hill but the limits are not with the motor but the slick plastic tires. we need chains for it come fall... lolonly issue i had was prior to ANY use one of the gears for the left back tire was broke on delivery. Perego was great over the phone and had the part shipped within a day or two.... but i had to pay for shipping!.. i thought i just paid nearly 500 for this and I have to pay for the shipping of a broken part??? whatever i thought... not happy with that but it was reasonable about 6 dollars or so.Better be good at putting things together cuz that wasn't fun. It doesn't come in one complete piece. Directions are okay but it certainly took a little time to get it all together. which only helped later on when we had to replace the gear by that time we were old hands on ride on mechanics. Maybe we'll open up a Peg Perego shop :-)

Poor Quality and Very Unsafe
Very Disappointed with this product! We bought this as a Christmas gift and Christmas morning, the first time my son (35 lb, 4 years old) rode it, the seatbelt broke and the dashboard cracked which eventually lead to all of the decorative pieces falling off (radio and speedometer). After calling customer service once the second seat belt broke, I was told "the seat belts are not meant for child safety and are just cosmetic so that children can pretend to be like their parents and put seat belts on." This is a huge concern - because the Polaris does not have doors and my child's friend flew out of it... The seat belts and dashboard are not covered in the (extremely limited) warranty although they are available for purchase at a high price and even higher shipping rate. This is not a safe toy for kids of any age! The overall quality is horrible. I would highly recommend looking into another vehicle for your child. We also have the John Deer tractor and it has held up way better (8+years).

great fun for the grandkids
only complaint is the seatbelt is useless as evident from the cut on my granddaughters nose when she leaned to her right as a passenger and the seat belt pulled out of the car causing her to cut her nose and lip. the jeep is fun and reverse is difficult for a younger child since you have to hold reverse in gear in order to back up
