Handwarmer Mug - Right Hand (Island Oasis)

Beautifully crafted and feels cozy to hold. Such a great selection of colors and designs I had a hard time picking, but very happy with my selection. These would make nice Christmas gifts with perhaps some gourmet coffee beans or K cup pods.

Gave this to my very picky daughter when it comes to coffee mugs. She says even though it's right handed, she can hold in right or left and it still keeps her fingers toasty. And she loves the looks.

I bought this to replace the mug I inherited from my mom that I recently broke. I had no idea where she bought it but it appears it came from this artist since they sell the exact color, I just opted for the gorgeous blue. High quality, dish washer safe, large capacity and absolutely beautiful. Just don't knock it off your desk.

This is actually my 3rd Clay in Motion mug. I periodically drop one and have to reorder. I tried another make too but didn't like it as well. I have smaller hands but can still grasp the mug near the top. What I especially like is that there are subtle ridges going around that make it easier to hold near the top when the mug is very hot. The craftsmanship and colors are great. The mug came wrapped well in bubble wrap which I especially appreciated. I mean, who want to open a broken mug? Added bonus is having the maker sign the bottom of the mug.

I received hand warmer cup today I purchased it for one reason to make my mushroom and cacao hot drinks. I am so pleased with my purchase!The Energy on this cup is beautiful!I can understand why this color has only a few left!The beauty of this cup will turn my drink into a magical elixir!

I adore this mug! A friend brought me one from Portland (where they're made) as a gift a few years ago and when I sadly broke it last year (my fault, not the mug's!) I immediately went in search of a new one and was very happy to find them on Amazon. The color and design on both of my mugs has been beautiful and the colors don't fade at all even after a few years of use. I really love being able to tuck my hand into the nook when it's chilly and I'm having tea as much to hug the warm mug as to sip the tea!Just be warned that when your beverage is extremely hot you won't want to wrap your hand around the mug and into the groove as it'll be extremely hot in there. You can easily grab it by the outer part of the handle until it cools down, though. I'm attaching a photo (the sideways one - sorry!) of how I hold it for the couple minute's it's too hot to wrap my hand inside so you can see what I mean. I wouldn't want a mug I always had to hold that way but it works for the minute or two it's necessary! If I make coffee with a little milk I can tuck my hand in from the start, but if I've just poured boiling water straight in it'll need as long as it takes my tea to brew plus another minute or two before I can comfortably wrap my hand around and into the groove (which is how I'm holding it in the other photos). The only other downside is that if you're cleaning it by hand you need to be conscious to get your sponge or whatever all around the bottom inside. This is especially true if you're drinking something like hot cocoa that might leave a little gunk at the bottom. This is because the groove for your hand pokes into the middle of the mug so you have to maneuver the sponge around that. The photo of the inside of the mug should give you an idea what I'm talking about.

The quality, size, and appearance of this mug are all great, I'm very impressed. It's easy to drink out of and seems very well made.The mug does get very hot, too hot to hold and without a separated handle it's sometimes difficult to carry back to my desk. I didn't factor this into my rating because I'm not sure anything can be done without destroying the look of the mug.I did however knock a star off because the hand-pocket is far too shallow (I'm a male with medium-sized hands) and forces me to grip the mug with my thumb and fingertips rather than my palm. This is far from a deal-killer because I can just grab the mug without using the pocket and it's plenty comfortable still
