But the cat loves it
It probably works well on a short hair. My hair is long (past shoulder blades) and I found little use for this brush. For dry brushing it is too small and uncomfortable. I purchased it to help with the distribution of shampoo and conditioner, but it failed again. As careful as I could be, I could not avoid tangling the hair much more that when using just my fingers.The cat loves it as a dry massage toy, though, so there is some good use for it, even if unexpected.

Great head scratcher!
I bought this to help loosen dandruff before I shampoo. My hair is pretty thick. The bristles were long enough to scratch my scalp..oh my gosh it feels soooo good . For my purposes it works well. The bristles are stiff and long, definitely can make it through curly thick dry hair. The self cleaning part is a great bonus.

A must have!
So it's not made with million dollar supplies. It's rather cheap. It is SOOOO awesome though. I couldn't wait to get it. I used it on dry hair and it felt so good! I also had someone else do it for me. My headache subsided. I recommend this. I have really long hair and it did not tangle.

Great as a pet brush
Fewer bristles extend after each retraction but its a great brush. I dont think it will last long though, but I love it for brushing my cats. Hair removal is EASY!

Great Hair Product
Great service, arrived promptly and retractable bristles were long and sturdy suitable for thick hair. Highly recommended. Item hard to find. Will purchase more myself.

Love it!!!
I hate to clean brushes and this self-cleaning brush is wonderful. It also does a great job on my scalp when I wash hair in the shower. My grand daughters like to use it also. They have long hair and when they use it in the shower it help untangle their hair.
