I've been using this as a final step in my skincare routine after moisturiser to seal everything in before sleeping. It's fantastic at helping all other skincare products to work better without transfer or coming off but it also leaves the skin feeling incredibly smooth and looking bright upon awakening too. I really love using it and I love the results from it too.It's not super thick, having the consistency of a moisturiser. However, because you usually need a little more product when applying a mask to seal everything in, you do go through it a bit faster than a moisturiser if you use it every night. This honestly didn't really do anything for me. It felt like a lightweight but oily moisturiser and my skin didn't feel hydrated after using it whether on my bare face or with skincare underneath it. I tried using it short-term and overnight but didn't notice much difference. However, I didn't find it irritating on my skin.
