This is just a well made item. Alot of what I was looking at was kinda glommy and cumbersome. It is a great size. I can crush to a powder tea, green coffee, pills, peppercorns. It gets the job done fast and I can thoroughly crush everything in just a few goes. It is just the perfect design, looks nice but works tough. Cleans up well and I loved the price as the quality was well worth more, at least to me.

There are many recipes where the mulling of the spices is indicated. I used various methods until I finally made the decision to buy. As a result, I've found that I can increase the intensity of spices by crushing them together. It's perfect when creating BBQ rubs. This is a sturdy, well crafted, product that should easily outlast me. I'm very pleased.

Perfect size. Not too big, not too small. Will hold over a cup of material to process. Easy to hold and manipulate. Good size Pestle. Crush spices or medications. Perfect for the kitchen or mad scientist!

Heavy, sturdy, can really handle anything you throw at it. Great mortar and pestle combo, highly recommend.

Exactly what I was looking for. May seem heavy to others, but I like mortars to be solid and not easily move around while in use. Outstanding price for the quality of this product.

Was not available in this size (275ml) for more than a year. Glad I could finally get one. Bought the 400ml but its huge.
