These are great for chalk board paint on a wall. They are vibrant and erase fairly easy. They have sort of a waxy feel to them when you’re writing. They took almost a month to arrive and two of them were broken which is slightly disappointing. I would probably order them again because of the dust free and easy cleaning capabilities.

This needs water to remove, not an eraser. just fyi. But the holders are great! the colors are vibrant!I bought it for my toddlers easel and ended up swapping out the chalk for regular ones that can be erased but still using the holders!ill use the chalk from this purchase for sidewalk chalk in the summer. im happy

I really wanted these to work out. As a teacher who only has a blackboard and have allergies to chalk, I thought dustless chalk in a holder would be awesome.Out of packaging they were fine. However, the shear container that holds the chalk had internal cracks on my blue and green. Not a big deal, I still could use them.After a week of random use, the white and yellow chalk fell out of the container. I can slip them back in but the fall out so if I’m bot cognizant of holding it while teaching, they fall and break.I do want to say, the colors are vivid, so that’s a plus! The concept is great, but definitely needs tweaking.I wouldn’t recommend for what it’s intended for.

We have a chalk table for our little one to color on. It seems more like a crayon than chalk. But it wipes off of the walls, tile and wood floors pretty easily. It has a bit of a waxy texture that leaves a mark on the table after wiping it off. And if your kids is rough on it the chalk will break in half and then it just falls out of the plastic pen case and then they get their hands on it and it gets all over their face and hands and clothes. Overall I like them over crayons because they are so way to clean up.

These were not a great choice for my grandson. He was putting the regular think crayons chalk on his mouth so I thought these would be better because of the plastic cover. The chalk doesn’t stay in the plastic hold like it should. He attempted to taste the chalk and it turns out these are not good for ANYONE. I couldn’t figure out why he was crying afterward so I rinsed his mouth and still he cried. The type of grandma I am I went ahead and tried a little lick of chalk myself lol and it was as if I had eaten something spicy. It burned my tongue and lips.PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF YOU CHOOSE TO PURCHASE.

I would buy this again without hesitation. The chalk writes smoothly, colors are bright, stays on the blackboard until removed, the case keeps my hands clean of chalk dust and keeps the chalk in one piece!
