iFixitPrying and Opening Tool Assortment - Electronics, Phone, Laptop, Tablet Repair

I've had this plastic pry set for a few months. I actually got it for my car. I've used them a few times and they worked great. My only complaint is the black pen-like ones could be stronger. However, i did not deduct any stars for this as this set is advertised towards using for electronic devices, etc.I used the scalpel looking one to remove an improperly installed in-channel rain guard from my car. It worked great, but it broke because the plastic was too flimsy for that type of job.I could see this being a great kit for much smaller jobs requiring much less force.

Great little tool set for working on computers and other tech devices. I was able to use the spudger to fix my smart home door lock (Aqara U100) which was such a great lifesaver moment when the lock wasn’t working right and needed to be opened up and reinstalled.

Yes, you can use other things to do the same thing, but if you do enough repairs around the house you find this very useful and the price right.

I like iFixit tools, I own a few of them. They work well, the sizes are right for the task, they are comfortable to handle and the sharp ends are sharp.I’m putting new batteries in my XM4 earbuds and tools like this are required. But I’m concerned they will disappear in my forest of tools in my expansive shop.My one point deduction is because this set and many iFixit tool sets lack a case or a storage bag.Many of the low end tools that look very similar offer a storage device. I almost bought those instead.In the photo, I created my own storage bag and clipped the iFixit shipping bag data and taped it to my own bag so I’d know what it was down the road.Come on iFixit, step up and at least match the overseas competition with storage for ALL your tool kits!

I don't know how I went so long without this kit. It's essentially for laptop repairs. I'm sure people use it for other things too. I've used it to open multiple laptops at this point. It feels very nice knowing I have this in my arsenal.

They are fairly durable and flexible, even when I'm using them to pry something open (and I'm, at best, a novice at repairs). iFixIt tools have been consistent in quality and I've never regretted getting more of them once they finally break.

I researched online for articles about suitable tools suggested for opening ereaders such as the kindle keyboards, and my older Amazon Fire tablets. What. came up was a tool kit exactly like this product. This would be handy in case I would need to change out a battery
