I downsized everything...and just kept my important papers that were absolutely needed...and I purchased these FILE FOLDER CONTAINERS to go under my 18" platform bed! They are perfect. All these need to keep files....but not need to access files are in a watertight container that has great lids and stack so easily if needed. Excellent item...and they cost a bit more than some file folder containers and ARE WORTH IT...much studied, handles make it easy to carry and they will not have any moisture or dust ...and these containers are not going to break easily....really well made.

Was really impressed by the customer service. I own a few of these and wanted another one. When it came it was damaged. I contacted the seller with details and they quickly sent a replacement. I compare this service to another supplier who sold the same product and this company really shines. The IRIS Letter and Legal Size WEATHERTIGHT container is the BEST container. Through the years I have owned many different kinds of containers for organizing documents, as well as parts and this design is the best. It is a bit pricey but it is well worth it. I will continue to order more as the need arises. I have found no other container that protects better physically and has the seal around the top. It is also easy to carry. And they stacks nicely! I have electronic components that fit into six smaller plastic cases which perfectly nest into this one for transport to where I consult. It allows me to be organized and protects the valuable contents.I am not paid by anyone to write this review! I just love to share with others when I find a great product and great supplier of it.

These seem really great! The ones that are not broken appear airtight (as claimed). There is a durable foam material that lines the lid where it sets onto the bin & 4 locking handles. Hanging files set in & fit perfectly. There is also enough clearance with the lid on to accommodate the label tabs on the hanging files.Unfortunately, 2 of 4 bins arrived with locking handle issues.1 bin is completely missing a locking handle (there are 4 on each bin).1 bin has a broken pin on locking handle & broken pin holder that holds the locking handle.These bins came in an original IRIS USA, Inc. box...with zero damage to the box...which means they were packaged broken & with missing parts at the manufacturer. Very disappointing.Also...before opting a return/exchange for the exact same item...I tried to contact IRIS online via the link provided on Amazon. The link provided says "404 Page Not Found." There was also no customer service contact option when I searched the website. Again, very disappointing.Ultimately, though, these bins are perfect for what I need so I have requested an exchange for the exact same.

I am extremely upset that these COULD be the best storage bins but the manufacturer/designer chooses to continue with horribly, negligently bad design flaws: Half of the TINY (1/8 inch?) pegs that go into the VERY THIN plastic pieces that hold the snapping handles in place are broken on at least half of the bins I have. Everyone who handles the bins has to be extremely and ridiculously and unrealistically gingerly careful opening and closing them, and once the snap handles are broken, the bin becomes essentially completely useless. This is an environmental nightmare, and an offense to us customers. Otherwise, though you also have to be careful not to drop or bump them or the hard plastic will definitely crack, I like the ceiling gasket which works nicely if you’re snap handles aren’t broken! I definitely can’t say that they are weathered tight or not – haven’t tried to submerge them in water or anything.

These came stacked in 2 packs of 2 and because the bottom latches were open, one broke off inside the box. The pin to hold it onto the bin came off on one side. The box still seals okay but when you open the box, the latch falls off. Bought these to store fabric outside with desiccant packets. We’ll see how they hold up, especially the one with the loose latch.

I live in Paradise and we get emergency evacuations for local fires. This go box my daughter made for me with all my documents that I need to take out the area. They’re strong boxes I can label on the outside. What’s in there and I can stack a couple. Good product thank you

Great look and size. I intend to use them as memory boxes and have yet to put the file folders and items in them. One at orange container arrived with the handles not attached. It wouldn’t have been too big of a deal because they are easy enough to reattach, but one of the handles is cracked. The other three appear to be in good shape. Overall, I think they’ll do the job.

J'ai reçu mes boites de rangement en très bon état. Elles me semblent très solides et le système de fermeture me semble étanche. Je pourrai en dire plus après les avoir entreposées quelques mois à la poussière et à l'humidité.

I ordered quickly and didn't pay attention so bought 5 instead of 1. They make wonderful storage containers as well as being portable filing cabinets. Stiff plastic. Sturdy. Light in weight. No odour. Stackable so you can put a table cloth over and use as a table if you're a student or you have a small place/cottage.
