AJSBeer Tap Handle Standard Ferrule and Hanger Bolt Set, 10 of Each

Not exactly as described. These are for making your own taps, not fitting existing taps for a display which is what I needed them for. I was able to make it work buy visiting my local hardware store but I could’ve just done that anyway. The material itself is good and price works.

A very solid beer tap ferrulel and hanger bolt. At under $3.00 a set, they are a downright bargain. Both pieces are well machined. The ferrule is finished with a shiney, chrome coating. The hanger bolt is designed for a secure, snug fit without the use of any specialty tools. The ferrules arrived in prestine condition. I would highly recommend this ferrule and anchor to anyone that makes their own or needs to repair a tap handle.

machine threads on the hanger bolt are too long. This forces you to have to overdrive the wood threads into the tap handle. This is necessary to leave room for the 3/8-16 female threads in the ferrule to accept the tap spigot male threads. If you can overdrive all the wood threads and 1/2 of the machine threads into the handle, it will work for you. The chrome is nice and damage free.

Have been building my own tap handles and these are perfect!

The screws are too long. The machine threaded side sticks all the way through when the ferrule is tightened, leaving no room for the male threads on the spout, which attach the handle. I had to cut the bolts down. I dont understand how the seller could screw this up, very careless. Im very disappointed with this product.

3 of the 10 had damaged or miscutbthreads and are unusable.

I've been making tap handles for a local brewery and the ferrules have consistently been one of the most expensive components. You won't find a better price out there than this, and the ferrule's are high quality! Highly recommended.
