We call this our "Amazon tool" in my household. This product is safer, easier to use, and more effective than a box cutter for unpacking Amazon deliveries. I love these things. I use them at work and at home. the blade in the hook is good for slicing through packing tape, or for tearing open those poly shipping bags, or evening slicing the tabs off of boxes to leave the top open. The tiny blade at the back is good for cutting through tape seems. You can even turn this thing around and stick the handle in a glued together box seem and slide it through to break the adhesive loose. Very handy! Now if the other people at work would quick taking my cooking knives and using them to open boxes and leaving them dull. :/ .. At least sharpen them and wash them when you're done violating them.

My parents had a great tool like this when they moved. So I had to snag one when we began moving.Too bad it kept getting stuck on tape and clogged up. We ended up resorting to kitchen knives cause they were easier.

I purchased these when I worked for a magazine company and needed to open bundles of magazines. This tool works very well. No danger of possibly cutting myself. Compact and light weight. Yellow color makes them easy to locate.

Movers, this is the best gadget in your tool belt when you get to your new home and have the typical mountain of boxes to open and break down for the monstrously large broken down box pile loving referred to as “recycling” before trash day/s. I recommend them to all my friends. These are for wonderful opening any kind of box safely and quickly. A must have! You and your “helpers” can each have one for maximum move efficiency.

I use these to cut different thicknesses of plastic sheeting and it works perfectly, from ultra lightweight to 8 mil, it cuts them all. I can drop it in my pocket and the blade is protected so I never worry about getting cut retrieving the tool. I am involved in protecting consumers from lead based paint during renovations and this tool saves me hours a week. Great tool, I will buy more when these wear out.

I actually discovered these at an amazon pick up location. They work great! They are simple and easy to use and safer than a box knife. it was nice that they came in a 3-pack, because they are handy to have around the house and in the garage.

This gadget hides its working part but makes it available to what you need to open with just a tug. It's very sharp and almost impossible to hurt yourself or what's in your package.
