Yes you need the matte black
Great dish set. Very solid, great matte black, sizing is awesome. Not too small. Customer service was great. (Delivery had a few broken dishes but they replaced the next day).Pros: great materials, solid matte black, great sizing, reordering options if you may break any. Great customer service.Cons: yes they scratch like any other dishes. But it’s not too much not to get the set. I posted the bowl to see the scratches. Also I hand washed. Have not used dishwasher as of yet.

Beautiful dishes that hold up to everyday life!
I purchased this matte brown set in 2021 (4 years ago) and still LOVE it! It’s easy to clean, sturdy and has a nice heavy weight to it. You’d never guess the price was as low as it is. I’m back online looking to see if I can get a replacement bowl because I dropped one when loading the dishwasher, but that was my fault! These aren’t delicate by any means. I’ve had no chips or scratches. I’d choose this set again today, and there are a ton of options out there!

Love this set. Beautiful and solid. Watch out if you are clumsy or clank dishes together as you will cause chipping. Easy to clean finish. I preferred square plates until I found this set, love the round style with the nice lip: Good price and holding strong.

Holy moly I’m so impressed with these dishes: excellent quality, the shape of these dishes is top-notch and I love the black matte color.Another good callout is the dishes. Don’t scratch easy.

The heaviest dishes known to man
I bought these off my niece's wedding registry and let me just tell you, these bad boys are not for the weak. I barely survived wrapping them and nearly broke a hip. I had to have help loading them into my car because I legitimately couldn't lift them (not an exaggeration...for real).

Truly are microwave safe!
Absolutely love this stoneware dish set. True to the color. Looks great with my other dish set. Quality product. Truly are dishwasher and microwave safe. They don’t get extremely hot, yet food inside gets heated efficiently when microwaved. Highly recommend!
