This pond vacuum did an excellent job of cleaning the muck from my pond. I was somewhat skeptical after reading reviews but I had to get my pond clean so I went ahead and ordered it. I have purchased The Pond Guy products before and have always been satisfied. Their pond vac worked like a charm. The only issue I had was with the filter bag not allowing much water to flow through, but I had so much muck in my pond that the bag quickly got filled with muck. I removed the bag and just let the mucky water drain onto my lawn. The suction was so good that it started sucking up the small rocks I have on the bottom. I changed nozzles to the large object barrier nozzle and only the smallest of pebbles got sucked up. I would much rather have the good suction than worry about small rocks getting sucked up. Very happy with purchase and would buy again.

This vacuum cleaner is pretty nice, we had lot's of gunk on the bottom of the pool after spring pollen season. With this vacuum cleaner we were able to sparkling clean our pool. The cleaner itself is not super convenient to use. Lot's of hoses to move around, but it got the work done.

This was what i needed to service my pond. It works so well than i only have to do this every 4 months. not inexpensive but well built and worth it

I've had several different models of similar vacuums over the years and this appears to yanold model of a more expensive brand. The first time I used it the handle at the end of the hose broke. I had a hose saved from an older model and started using that instead. Halfway through cleaning, less than 30 minutes, the vac stopped switching tanks and would no longer suck through the intake. Instead it sucked from the output. I checked the flap and it is fine, the floats in the tank are working also. The design pretty simple so it's usually easy to find an issue but the inside of the tank is clean. I've tried everything I think of and have given up. Do not buy this vac, it's a waste of money.

The drain line keep getting disconnected. It needs some kind of locks. I ended up put the vacuum far off the yard and not able to use the drain line

i just bought this. it was easy to put it together, easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. no complaints. my pond is so clean. love it.

We are using this to vacuum out our above ground pool after we used green to blue. Due to the two chambers we are able to vacuum without having to stop for the tank to drain. The drain hose really needs to be longer, but we tape two hoses together and worked around that issue. We have only had it for a little under a week but so far we are very happy with this purchase!

The only reason I didn't give it a five star was the fact that it won't suction up leaves or mulch. It has been a game changer with cleaning my pond for spring clean out.
