100 x Black Genuine Amaray DVD Cases 14mm Spine

when it comes to DVD cases you can do no better than Amaray, these are the best by far, strong and sturdy, and crystal clear sleeve just like the DVD movies you buy. they really are the dog's wotsits. i have bought many, many DVD cases over the years, and the cheap ones do their job, but you can tell they're cheap. these are so much better, i thought the price was very reasonable, the same quantity of the cheap n nasty ones were not much cheaper and would be a false economy. if you need good quality cases these are the best you can buy, and most definately worth the few extra quid. they simply can not be beaten.UPDATE: Be careful, i just bought another lot of these, using the same link and another supplier fulfilled the order and they were not the same. they were not black, more like charcoal, and they did not have the booklet holder in the spine, they appear to be a little less rigid than the previous batch. Nothing wrong with these, they are good quality, but just bear in mind they are not true black.

severely Scratched cases with defect on every cover. have received these defective ones more than once. clearly seconds. very unhappy as I was unable to fulfill orders for my customers upon opening them and realising what a shoddy batch they were. All of them had multiple scuffs in the same place - manufacturing fault, clearly rejects. Why isnt this checked in advance?

I volunteer for the Lancashire Parish Register Society and it's my role to burn the parish register CDs, print the CD label, print the DVD case cover and put everything into the case. So, quality is paramount. I used up the complement of (generic average quality and often cracked) DVD cases that I inherited when I took up the role and then was in need of purchasing a new supply. I looked at what was on offer in the UK then did my research and find any reviews. I came to a no brainer conclusion: Amaray DVD cases; which I then purchased and, I can tell you, I was not disappointed. Every case in the box was in perfect condition. There's even a leaflet included offering replacement of any case that is damaged (which I recycled as I had no use for it). When this supply is used up I'll buy more of the same. Excellent! I thought paying a little more for these cases they would be better the quality I suppose is as good as what you pay for several cases don't close properly a few badly marked

Have had these DVD cases before and I suspect that the quality now is not as good as previously.However there is a package problem:Ordered two sets of 100 cases and two boxes arrived. On inspection, however, each box contains only 50 cases, even though one of the boxes had a label with "100" printed on it. The despatch dept must have taken this to mean 100 items per box when in fact each box contained only 50 as explained above.Am currently in depute with the trading company Master Trading (via Amazon, who have been very helpful) and will continue to insist that the second half of my order is dispatched - or I have half of my payment refunded.Additionally one DVD case was missing from one of the boxes of 50 and another was damaged and can't be used.Not a happy customer of "Master Trading" (whose emails I have found are curt and unhelpful).UPDATE: (A month later): Amazon have refunded my cash for the undelivered half of my order using their A-to-z Guarantee claim procedure. Amazon have also now changed the trader from "Master Trading" to "Atronica" for this product so I have ordered a further 100 cases to replace the undelivered ones.FURTHER UPDATE: Having had previous problems with this item supplied by Master Trader, I am delighted with the speed of delivery and accuracy of despatch of the product by Atronica this time. In a similar way to the double Black Amaray DVD Cases, these cases fulfilled my expectations as I had previously used 7mm wide cases, but the 14mm wide ones are much sturdier and close by using the strong clips, which stay closed.The downside was that they had not been packed with adequate protection and thirteen were broken on a corner when someone had dropped the box.When I contacted the seller they were very concerned and immediately sent 20 replacements for the damaged ones. That is good service.

Every one of these cases were badly scuffed/scratched along the front near the spine. Some also close better than others. I find myself picking through the batch trying to find ones that don't feel cheap! Waiting to get through them all but won't buy again.

If you are ever going to purchase DVD cases Amaray is the way to go. Used by the industry for packing products these cases are very sturdy. They are made from a thicker gauge plastic than the cheaper ones available. The clear plastic sleeve for the insert is also a heavier gauge. To help protect your valuable DVD's and music discs I would suggest you spend that little bit more and by Amaray cases.
