Gets the fleas. There is a certain finality when you comb the fleas out of your dogs coat, rather than topical pesticides that don't seem to completely eradicate fleas from your pet. I use these combs as part of a comprehensive attack on my pets fleas. Nothing alone seems to work, but together with flea spray, flea baths, whole home flea spray, and combing the last of the little critters from the dogs coat, I have put my flea problem to rest. These combs are well made for the price, comfortable to use, and effective. Also nice is that there are enough combs for the family to each have their own. My dogs are getting used to being combed and seem to enjoy it once they did. I also used an internal pesticide bought on Amazon which did not completely work. Also combs out the coat for grooming.

My babies got eat up with fleas when I took them outside after the early heatwave. I washed them in flea soap, gave them internal flea preventative and had to also spray them with flea spray. I also washed and steamed everything. Vacuumed and cleaned the carpets. Nothing was working and my condo assoc claimed the fleas were in my house and refused to spray outside. (I was gone for a week and my babies had zero fleas until they went outside upon my return. I noticed the fleas immediately on my blond baby.) I bought these combs and started checking my babies after every outting before letting them in the house. These combs worked like a charm. Kept a bowl with soapy water next to me to kill the ones I pulled off. Day one I was pulling 4-5 fleas off each pup every time they went out. Finally got assoc to spray. Today I only pulled 1 flea total. I made it a game and now my babies enjoy combing time. I feel I'd still be fighting the battle with the fleas had I not used these combs. The use of them stopped the fleas from coming into my home. Plus, I was able to stop putting chemicals on my babies. I highly recommend this product.

Great combs to remove fleas from cat. I like the handle one the best but the others are good for my delicate areas. Quality combines and very comfortable to comb cat.

These were great, grabs the fleas nice and easy. The build is pretty nice, and there's plenty of options. although i ended up mostly using the longer brush!

I ordered these due to my inside cat constantly sneaking outside thru the doggie door. I was using this 7 inch comb on my short haired dog and two tines on the comb bent outward. I keep pushing and bending them in but they continue to bend out. It happens on my ragdoll cats also.These all go thru short or long haired animals and are easy too clean. But the one that works the best is the one that continues to have the comb tines bend.I'm not sure I'd order these again.
