AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Study Guide: CLF-C01 Exam

1 week of study. Covers nearly everything I encountered on the exam.
* There are a few typos as expected.* The exercises aren’t always easy to follow, but that has more to do with AWS constantly evolving.* The review questions track closely with exam questions. It should take an experienced IT professional or software developer about 1 week or less to read through and study this material.

Excellent Cert Guide
AWS is constantly changing, fortunately this book contains the most relelvant information to nail the Cloud Practicioner exam. The additional study materials are nice as well. Definitely worth the investment if you plan to utilize the entire package. I recently started a job working with AWS and this book has helped me to quickly understand the platform and tools. I recommend this to anyone starting out with the platform.

Except chapter 1, all other chapters have 20 questions. Chapter 1 has only 12.
What this book is and what this book is not:Primarily for M2 and M3 level managers those are responsible for SLA, work closely with AWS support, Trusted Advisors, understand billing and try to optimize. At M5 level you deal with identifying vendors, identifying enterprise wide strategy. This book does not cover that.Contents:Good material in chapter 9. Could have added a page describing what to expect in the actual test - time, number of questions, tactics. Agreed that it is already available from AWS certification page. But having it all in the same space is convenient.Page 57, what about the situation, your SA does incorrect configuration after passing SAP test?

Great Content. Passed on my first try
This was a great resource to use. Each chapter has a quiz at the end. The content is comprehensive. I gained a lot of knowledge from this. I even gave it to my brother to study so he can pass. I recommend this book.

Not a bad start.
Overall it gives a good overview of what you need to know for the exam. However the way the test questions are written are very different than the exam. Trying to jump from questions to answers is cumbersome, a link would be much better kindel version. The explanations in the answers are not great, found myself having to go to other sites. It us a good indicator of where you need to spend time based on the test questions.

Fairly Light in Content but Sufficient
Ok just got the printed edition and expected a book 456 pages as it says. Nope it’s barely 270 including Appendices and Index. Not happy about that. Will revise my review based on content but not off to a good start so far.UPDATE:Despite the slim stature the content was spot-on. Passed the exam 900/1000 using this and A Cloud Guru along with practice tests and the official AWS White Papers.

I passed
Used this study guide, some additional practice tests from examDojo plus several clear speaking free YouTube audio courses. I have industry experience and higher than general grasp on many concepts but no technically specific skills that would have constituted me having an edge on the content With that said, I studied on average about 3 hours a day for 30 days and 20 hours the weekend before and I passed.
