Maintenance not cure
The product works well for maintenance; it will slow down the gray but it will not remove it completely. My husband has more gray than I do and the results are a darker color but not restored to its original color. I give it 5 starts I have some gray and it works better on me. The conditioner smells like mint, the shampoo is a little different. I say that using the combination of pills, shampoo, and conditioner, helps but I believe different people will have a different result. Only by trying it you will know.

My shampoo and conditioner was spilled into the packaging and I didn’t have enough to use it to actually rate it

So far, so good
I've only been using this for about a week, but I'm feeling hopeful. I have been losing a lot of hair lately, and it has started to bother me. After taking the supplements and using the products, I've seen a reduction in the amount of hair that is falling out. I like the scent of the shampoo and conditioner and the fact that they make my hair feel soft without adding the weight to my hair. I'm hopeful that this product will live up to it's claims and I'm impressed so far.

Lovely refreshing scent...
The Catalase Formula Starter Kit is awesome. Not only are you helping your hair from the outside, but from the inside as well. The supplements are not large. They are easy to swallow. They contain vitamins B6, folate, biotin, zinc and copper to name a few. The supplements have not upset my stomach in the least. The shampoo and conditioner both are thick and creamy feeling. The scent is mint. The shampoo makes my colored treated, coarse hair feel clean and bouncy. The conditioner does not weigh my hair down in the least. Overall I like the idea of taking the supplement to help me internally and the shampoo and conditioner to treat my hair externally.

Runny thin texture. Needed twice as much shampoo as ordinary shampoo.
The consistency of both the shampoo and conditioner is very runny. I used a scalp massager to really get this into my hair consistently. It was so funny that I couldn’t get it to lather and I needed to keep adding more product to cover all of my hair. The scent was minty and nice. For this being advertised as a Catalase shampoo and conditioner, it’s the very last item listed on the ingredients. I also use shampoo that is paraben and sulfate free. I’m not 100% sure this is free of those. Looking at the ingredients I see sodium laureth listed and I try to avoid these types of ingredients. It is made in the USA specifically it lists NJ as where the company is located. I felt like I really needed to use a lot more than the average shampoo and conditioner. My hair also felt very greasy 8 hours after washing with it. I’m not a fan.
