Vehicle restoration.
I have used Altrans to de-rust steel components, nuts and bolts etc. and I have had excellent results; the rust was removed right back to clean metal. Just a light scrub with a stiff brush to remove any residue and a rinse in water and the job was done. With care and Altrans diluted I was able to remove hardened grime and dirt from aluminium engine casings.This has saved me the cost and inconvenience of sending parts away for bead blasting. I can highly recommend Altrans. Read and follow the instructions on the container before use.
