Sally Hansen Hair Remover Kit, 1 Count (Package May Vary)

I was scared when they changed the formula for the old Sally Hanson face remover cream because I’ve been using it for years pretty frequently battling my PCOS facial hair. Happy to report that even though this formula is different, it’s even stronger. I used to have to put the other formula on for 15 minutes and would still feel no burn with only half my hair removed - I had to shave the rest. Now I use this new one for 10 minutes and although the burning starts at around 8-9 minutes, I know it’s working, and it removes almost 90% of my facial hair now which is such a huge improvement compared to before. Disclaimer: I do not have sensitive skin and my hair is thick, coarse and dark. I would recommend starting off with 5-6 minutes for those of you with lighter hair, which isn’t as hard to remove, or sensitive skin. I never use the after cream, but this one is nicer than the other one although the cent is very strong.

No one told me that when I reached retirement age that my facial “peach fuzzy” would grow longer and my upper lip hair would grow in dark. There is nothing worse than peach fuzzy matted under foundation and dark hair poking out above a lip.I grew tired of daily dermaplaning to get rid of my facial hair and decided to give chemical hair removal a try. As a retired person, chemical hair removal is less expensive than going to a spa for hair removal treatments or buying a home laser hair removal device. To my delight Sally Hansen’s cream works to keep my facial hair away for about 5-days. This makes getting ready for the day much easier and faster.Lessons learned/Tips from my early trials with the cream.1. I have learned that 3-minutes does not work for me to remove the facial hair. 5-minutes is the better time for me.But be very carefully to not leave this solution on too long or you will irritate your skin. You will need to test whattime works best for you.2. I divide my face into 4 sections to ensure I only leave the solution on for 5-minutes before wiping off with a dampfacial pad.a. Upper lip including the columella and Nasolabial foldsb. Chin including 2-inches under chin.c. Left Cheek including 2-inches under jaw lined. Right cheek including 2-inches under jaw line.3. Wash your hands immediately after applying the cream to your face.4. I wash my face with a gentle dermatologist recommended cleanser after completing each section of my face.5. My process set-up includes a watch to monitor the time, facial pads, and a magnifying mirror to check my work after each section.6. I put a thick layer of dermatologist recommended moisturizer cream on my face after I’ve completed the process.7. The chemical smell can linger on the skin. I found taking a shower after the process gets rid of the smell.

Works great used to buy them at Walmart. They don’t have them anymore.

Just OK. I was sick of going to an electrolysis for just peach fuss so after over 10 yrs of not using this I thought I'd give it a try. The formula seems a bit different. You have to put more on. Not a great smell but the moisturizer that you put on after sorta masks the smell. It seems like I'm getting peach fuzz faster with this then just tweezing or going to the electrolysis but maybe I'm wrong. I just know it saves me money cause going to them costs way more than it used to.

I am one of those whose facial skin/hair type does not respond well to this product. Per the instructions, I placed on my chin for 5 minutes and wiped off. There was no hair on my towel but also no irritation. The next day, I left on for 8 minutes then removed. There was *some* hair removal but also slight inflammation, soreness, and redness. I did a swatch test prior to initial use and I did not experience this reaction. I will not be using this product again. The included aftercare lotion is soothing and pleasant smelling.

Didn't work for me. Im in perimenopause and started getting very very thick black hairs in my chin. Other products left me with burns. This one didn't give me burns or rashes but simply didn't work. I did precisely as the directions said. Even tried leaving it on longer. Nope lol. Clearly based on the reviews tho, it works for some people . Its cheap enough its worth a try!

Very good, I finally found a product that works well. It removed all the hair my eyebrows.
