Full Roll of 1943 circulated steel pennies by US Mint

I bought them so I could give them away. I'm 55 years old so maybe this will be my "Old Man" thing. BTW I'm not even close to being "Old," yet. I'm quite a bit stronger, with more work stamina than most of the 30 y/o's that I work with.

I bought 2 orders and 15 were in very very great condition and the rest were a little worn and I would say only 8 were very very worn. I love the pennies and always wanted one and now i have 100. Great product!

I have been wanting some steel pennies for long time. I have some of those replated coins but not real steel cents. I was a tad leery buying this way but had a gift card so I looked at the different listings and chose this one. The item was delivered when promised via USPS. I was prepared for some rusted coins but did not get any at all. About half were dark but a surprising number were shiny. A number of them were quite nice and had sharp details. I didn't rate a 5 since they were rolled in one of those paper rolls as I was expected them in a plastic tube like the wheaties I got a few months ago. Maybe a drawstring bag. Packed in a padded envelope and not a box. However, that is not a big deal since I couldn't put them back in the tube correctly and do not need any more boxes. Overall I am pleased with the coins and the price.

Was used as a Christmas gift to our grandson who collects coins. He loved receiving a full roll of steel pennies.

Came in the shotgun roll. All 3 mints as promised. Some were better than others but all are magnetic and not refurbished. They were exactly what I expected.

I never know what to expect when I purchase coins like these. There is always a play on words to get you to buy or some special enhanced gimmicks that will make your purchase better here then else wear. Anyway I received what was promised and a little bonus. There were two very bright silver colored 1943 pennies in the package. According to the accompanying card they were made this way with a new process?? They are very beautiful. I hate the fact that all the collectors say not to clean your coins because it will take away from the coins value. I can see not messing with the actual patina of the coin but when I look at these coins under the micro scope it’s a whole other world. Anyway I’m just curious if their process helped the value of the coins or just made then worthless.

It's true that the coins are advertised as "circulated", but none of the coins appear to be in as good condition as the one depicted. They are extremely worn and in poor condition. Most could pass as regular pennies if one doesn't look too closely. There was only one that had any coloring similar to the example, and even that one had corrosion on its face. I had intended to give them out as interesting keepsakes of American history but, no, that isn't going to happen. NOTE: I went back and checked. Other Amazon sellers are more honest about how the coins will really look when you get them.
