Danze D461723 525 Versa Slide Handshower Kit with Slide Bar, Chrome

We recently completely renovated our Master bath. I looked and looked all over and finally settled on the Danz shower rail with shower head has 5 settings and adjustable for height. I am always a litte leary about buying such fixtures on line nevery sure of the quality. Package came nicely packed and heavy in weight which is normally a good sign. This fixture is very well made and allows for great water flow and pressure. We have well water which is hard water so after each shower I try to wipe down the rail, hose and shower head to keep the nice nickle finish look spot free. If you have looked much you know this type of fixture doesnt come cheap atleast the good ones! This was by no means the most exspensive as they go up in the 3 and 400$ range. This one was under $200 which is a great buy well worth the money. I am thinking about buying another for my other shower.

I replaced a Moen slide bar with this Danze Versa unit. This is in a whole new league. The quality and function of the slide bar is so much better that the two could not be compared. The shower head is really nothing special except that it matches the bar in color and works just fine. As with most bath fixtures, I use better fasteners to be sure that they are mounted more than securely. The slide mechanism is both solid and elegant. The bar really has a look of quality about it. Color is very good but won't match other brands oil rubbed bronze. I had to use a Moen valve trim due to a Moen valve being installed in the wall. The color of the Moen does not match the Danze, but somehow I will survive this.

Like others, I had a question that had conflicting answers. Does it tilt? The answer is YES. Because it doesn't have any button to push, it does not appear at first glance to tilt. However, you just pull the shower head forward or backward for tilt. It also moves side to side and of course, slides easily on the shower bar. Hope this helps others who were equally confused as I was.

Easily the best bar made.It is about 1" in diameter. It is all metal. No crap plastic parts. The slider rotates as well as sliding up and down the bar. The hose is actually stainless steel. Not plastic! The hand held head seems like it might be plastic.

We have the Danze Parma Collection (chrome) of bathroom fixtures and this slide and handshower kit is as close to the Parma design that we could find. It looks great, but is a little light on the weight which is good or bad I guess. We bought the Alsons 3-way shower arm diverter [...], and though it works great - the design kinda clashes with the sleek and clean Danze Parma look.

The quality is amazing. However, the handshower can not be put on the slide bar. I am not sure if the wrong part was sent to me or not.

I love this shower head it is very easy to adjust to other settings , and water pressure seems to improve for some reason .Would buy again because it is copper and not plastic .

Absolutely the best hand he km do shower glide rail system I have installed to date.Had my Masters cert in 82, so I have seen a few hand held shower assemblies.
