BENEFITS OF A JORVIK ALUMINIUM FOLDING TRICYCLE All Jorvik 250w electric tricycles are EAPC regulated and legal to ride on the road without the need of a driving licence or insurance. Jorvik electric trikes are pedal assisted so as the rider pedals the electric hub motor will give the tricycle a surge of power which will propel the tricycle forward at a maximum of 15mph with minimum effort. This enables the rider to travel much longer distances and tackle hills and slopes that maybe the rider could not of achieved previously. A new addition to all 2018 models is a twist throttle feature as well as pedal assist, this allows the rider to travel at a maximum of 4mph/6kmh without pedalling. This feature can be used to help the rider start the tricycle moving forward before having to pedal or simply used to give the riders legs a rest as you slowly move along. Please be aware the throttle is not designed to propel the rider up hills or slopes it is is simply an aid to move the tricycle at a slow walking speed on level ground.
